ABOUT DNADNA is a professional nursing organization comprised of a diverse group of individuals committed to qualitycare through sharing knowledge and expertise. Its core purpose is to promote excellence in dermatologiccare. The association’s origins date back to 1978, when an informal meeting was held to discuss concernsand questions and to seek avenues for further dermatologic nursing education. The first educationalprogram was held in 1980, the first official annual convention in 1982, and the first elected officers wereinstalled in 1983. Since then, the DNA has grown to 3,000 members with 26 local chapters.
