Claims Manager® Features

Incident Reporting: Easily report incidents through Claims Manager’s (FNOL) incident reporting portal ,an existing integrated incident reporting portal, or report an incident directly from the Claims Manager
system.

Multi-line system: Claims Manger supports multiple lines of business including workers’ compensation, property, general liability, and auto.

Adjuster Diaries: Create diaries to track upcoming tasks. Claims Manager also integrates with Microsoft Outlook to set up reminders of upcoming events.

Email Integration: Streamline your workflow by uploading emails directly from your inbox to a specified claim, and send emails
directly from Claims Manager.

Robust Financials: Capture all financial activities associated with the claim to set and edit reserves, track and pay invoices, and write checks directly from the Claims Manager system. Claims Manager also
integrates with an existing accounting and HR software system.

Claims Manager® is an ASP.NET web-based application that is broken down into multiple layers – presentation, business and data layers. The presentation layer is designed to use current

web browsers, the business layer supports client-specific customizations and the data layer support SQL 2008 and

above.

Hosted or Non Hosted SolutionsJDi Data supports both options with the same level of service. In a cloud environment, services include maintain/upgrade/support of all functionality. In a client-hosted environment, client would provide JDi Data virtual server access thereby limiting client IT intervention except for hardware maintenance.

1. Software to be hosted on client-provided infrastructureJDi Data recommends :Microsoft Windows 2008-based infrastructure with adequate hardware redundancy (hardware RAID, redundant power supplies, etc.).

2. Software to be hosted on cloud-based infrastructureCloud solutions allow us to easily grow the hosting infrastructure with minimal additional cost, administrative overhead and downtime. As your user-base grows, cloud-based infrastructure can easily grow with it by simply allocating additional computer resources (disk space, memory, etc.). For added peace of mind, regular application data backups can be scheduled.

Quality Assurance

JDi Data has a separate infrastructure for development and quality assurance environments. After the developers have finished working on the items targeted for a release, that release is deployed to our internal quality

assurance environment where dedicated personnel test each change thoroughly prior to anything being installed on a client’s site. In addition, JDi

data uses automated testing software whenever possible to prevent regressions.
