JASIC-600 Java Automation System Integration Controller JASIC-600 integration controllers provide open protocol interoperability options for ASI Controls systems supporting industry standard open protocols such as BACnet™, LonWorks™, Modbus, oBIX™, and more. • 524 MHz PowerPC CPU • 128MB Flash Memory • 128MB RAM Memory, field- upgradeable to 256MB • Two Ethernet ports • RS-232, RS-485, USB ports • Embedded Web Server for Graphical Front End • QNX Real-time Operating System • Optional Embedded Device Configuration Software • Optional Software to Create Custom Animated 3D Graphics for User Interface • Niagara Framework enables BACnet, LonWorks, oBIX, and Modbus Interoperability All ASI Controls Java™ Automation System Integration Controllers (JASIC) include an embedded web server to provide an interactive system front end for an automation control network. The JASIC-600 can be accessed by remote Web browsers over a local Intranet, the Internet, or an optional GPRS Modem card. Workbench configuration software can be run in embedded mode or from a connected computer. The JASIC-600 runs the industry standard Tridium Niagara Framework, with multiple open protocol integration options for control applications including building automation and energy management. Niagara Framework provides fully open interoperability and control. Mounting options include DIN rails or screw tabs on the base for panel mounting. The JASIC-600 supports a wide range of field busses for connection to controllers and equipment. oBIX client/server drivers are included, and optional software drivers enable other protocols. Connecting with LonWorks requires optional communications cards. The controller comes with two Ethernet ports. ASI controllers on a BACnet-MS/TP network can be configured remotely using ASI Visual Expert software by tunneling through a JASIC-600 BACnet-IP interface. The JASIC-600 provides a web-accessible user interface with animated 3D graphics. Optional Web Supervisor software archives trend data off the controller and presents a unified front end for networks with multiple JASIC controllers. An internal battery saves configuration database during brief outages and maintains the real-time clock up to one year.
