K.S.K teaches how to interpret Saturn Transit Results – Part I
A very Happy New Year 2015 and Happy Saraswati Puja 2015 to all our 25000+
subscribed readers spread across more than 125 countries. Truly, this is largest
astrological family in the whole world and no other e-magazine can ever boast of such
large readership.
In KP astrology, predicting results of transits are not very clear even though there is
the separate Reader in KP astrology on transit itself (Reader No. 5). In the next 3 issues of
JASA, I will be providing a very rare article of K.S.K on transit of Saturn and some of the
tricks and tips written in that rare article about interpretation of transit results in general.
The article is from Astrology & Athrista, June 1968 Issue titled “Saturn’s Transit”
where late KSK is explaining how to interpret the transit of Saturn. This entire
article is K.S.K’s speech given in Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, Mumbai on 18th
Feb
1968.
JASA IS REPRODUCING THIS RARE SPEECH AFTER 46 YEARS
In this issue of JASA we have fantastic articles by 21 authors who have together
contributed 24 articles of high calibre. Among them there is a new author Sri
Birendra Kumar Padhi ji who has contributed a KP article. Watch out for the Delhi State
Legislative 2015 Assembly election predictive article by Dr. Nirmal Kothari ji, which I
am sure will turn out to be a correct prediction. Also a very good piece of research has
been done by V.S.N. Murthy ji on Poets, authors and writers with very clear rules and
precision. Apart from these there are splendid KP article in KP Astrology Section.
Apart from these, there are our regular authors in Meena2 Naadi Section and 4 Step
Theory section who keep on providing us with high class and high quality astrological

The Comparison (Analysis) Table between AAP and Opponent (BJP) has been judged keeping in mind
the following Golden Rules of KP Astrology, mainly KP Stellar Theory of Starlord versus Sublord.
Planet is the source of a result, Constellation is the nature of the result and Sub is the final deciding factor
of a result.
If Starlord is benefic (favorable) and Sublord is also benefic (favorable), then the native enjoys.
If Starlord is malefic (unfavorable) and Sublord is also malefic (unfavorable), then the native suffers.
If Starlord is benefic (favorable) and Sublord is malefic (unfavorable), then apparently it may seem that the
event is going to take place, but eventually it will hold.
If Starlord is malefic (unfavorable) and Sublord is benefic (favorable), then after some obstacles or
hindrances, the event will take place.
Conclusion: AAP will not able to win Delhi State Legislative Assembly Election 2015.

READERS MAY PLEASE NOTE HOW CORRECTLY DR. KOTHARI HAS
ROTATED THE HORARY CHART.
THIS IS THE CORRECT METHOD TO AS PER ORIGINAL KSK TEACHING.
These days in some KP training programs some people are wrongly propagating that
there is no need to rotate the horary chart and the same Ascendant from Horary Number
can be treated as one and same. THIS IS MISGUIDING PEOPLE DUE TO LACK OF
KNOWLEDGE.
We Thank Dr. Kothari for showing the correct method of KSK
JASA and its 25000+ readers wishes Dr. Nirmal Kothari all the very best of luck for
this prediction !!

GETTING BAIL FROM COURT TOWARDS RELEASE FROM JAIL: A KP ANALYSIS
Dr. Nirmal Kothari
ackground Note: As it tries to raise funds for securing release of Chief Subrata Roy from Tihar Jail,
Sahara Group awaits court verdict that may give jailed Chief Subrata Roy freedom. The Supreme
Court is expected to pass an order on Sahara's plea on Wednesday 17th December 2014.
Question: Whether Subrata Sahara Roy will get bail today (17th
December 2014) from court
towards release from Jail? (Query directly taken on behalf of Subrata Sahara Roy)
Horary Number: 125 (out of 249).
Time of Judgment: 17-12-2014, 12:42:50 Hrs. (IST).
Place of Judgment: Park Street (Long/Lat: 22N33, 88E21), Kolkata, West Bengal
Hints:
If the Cuspal Sublord (CSL) of 12th
(Jail, Imprisonment) signifies 2 (Family, increase or decrease of
family member), 4 (House, Return to Home) or 11 (Success, fulfillment of desire, house to negate 12th
Cusp i.e. Jail), getting bail from court towards release from jail is promised during the joint period of
Significators of 2-4-11.
If 12h cusp Sublord signifies 8 (Misfortune, Hindrances, Obstacles, Difficulties in release from
imprisonment), 12 (Jail) in the DBA of 8, 12, then getting Bail towards release from jail is not assured.
Matters signifies by Cusp/House

(C) Fruitful (Common) planets among (A) and (B): Moon, Mercury, Saturn, Rahu, Ketu.
JOINT PERIOD (DBAS: DASHA-BHUKTI-ANTHRA-SOOKSHMA)
Running DBA Lords are Saturn-Ketu-Rahu (from 28-10-2013 to 28-12-2013) – all are fruitful
(common) planets, hence taken into consideration.
Present Sookshma Lord is Ketu (from 02-12-2013 to 06-12-2013)
Ketu is a weak significator of grade E. Now the question arises, should we consider Ketu? Yes, we
must consider Ketu due to the following reasons:
JASA Vol. 4 (3) Jan-Mar 2015
38
Ketu is a fruitful (common) planet and appeared as twice under ruling planets.
Mars is appeared twice under Ruling Planets. Ketu is in Aries and thus represents Mars. Nodes
are stronger than planets as per KP principles. Thus, preference must give to Ketu instead of
Mars and accordingly Ketu should be taken into consideration.
In horary chart, Mars is untenanted and not being the cuspal sublord of any cusp among I to XII.
But Mars is having stellar (positional) strength i.e. untenanted (there is no planet in stars of Mars)
and the cuspal starlord (CSTL) of 3-7-11. Thus Ketu, being an agent of Mars, signifies 3-11.
Further Ketu is posited in the sub of Mercury. Mercury, being untenanted, is the owner of 3-11
and CSL of 11. Mercury conjoined with Moon (within ± 6°) who is the strong significator of
grade A of 3rd
cusp. So here Ketu is most powerful and strongest planet who signifies 3, 11
through an agent of Mars and in connection with 3 and 11 through Mercury. Thus, we
cannot ignore Ketu.
Now after Ketu Sookshma, Venus (from 06-12-2013 to 16-12-2013) will be run. Venus is a weak
significator of grade E and also not present under ruling planets. Thus, Venus is not a fruitful
(common) planet, hence not taken into consideration.
Now from the above analysis, it is clear that courier will come within end of official delivery hours (say
19:50 Hrs) up to 6th
December 2013 under DBAS of Saturn-Ketu-Rahu-Ketu.
Since the event will possibly fructify within a month, we have to check the transit of Moon.
During the DBAS Period Saturn-Ketu-Rahu-Ketu (from 02-12-2013 to 06-12-2013), Moon will be
transiting –
(a) In the star of Mercury (Jyestha) on 03-12-2013;
(b) In the Star of Ketu (Moola) on 04-12-2013;
(c) In the star of Venus (Purva-Ashadha) on 05-12-2013;
(d) In the star of Sun (Uttara Ashadha) on 06-12-2013.
As explained, Mercury is the strong significator of 3 and 11. On 3rd
December 2013, Moon transiting in
sign of Mars (Scorpio) and star of Mercury. Both Mars and Mercury are present under ruling planets. So,
principally we should considered transit option (a). As Punarphoo present, thus logically, it seems
difficult that courier will received within next day within 24 hours from the date of dispatch. But nothing
is impossible. Sometimes, a reputed and good courier agency will delivered the courier within 24 hours
from metro or big city to another. In our case, the origin city of dispatch of courier was Hyderabad and
Destination City was Kolkata.
As explained, Ketu is strongest among ruling planets and posited in sub of fruitful planet (i.e. Mercury)
who is also a strong significator of the relevant houses. Thus, we must consider strongly transit option (b).
Transit option (c) and (d) has been ruled out as Venus and Sun is not a fruitful (common) planet.
JASA Vol. 4 (3) Jan-Mar 2015
39
Now, the available options/dates are 03-12-2013 and 04-12-2013. My opinion to select date as 04-12-
2013 at first and then 03-12-2013.
Actual Outcome: Prediction comes true. The courier was received by Querent on 4th
December 2013 at
around 13:00 to 14:00 Hrs., when Moon was transiting in sign of Jupiter (Sagittarius), star of Ketu
(Moola) and in sub of Rahu.

Second Child When? A KP Analysis
S. N. Sardar
ne day a lady who is my next door neighbour, came to my house with her husband. She was in the
family way and very advanced stage. Her family physician had given the expected time of delivery
in the 1st week of September,2014. But she wanted to know the exact date of delivery for her second
child. I asked her to give a number within 249. She gave number 235 at 8-11 p.m. on Saturday, the 9th
August, 2014 in Kolkata.
Question : When can I deliver my second child ?
Horary Number : 235
Date of judgement: 09/08/2014(Saturday),
Time of judgement : 20:11:12hrs.(IST)
Place of judgement : Thakurpukur, Kolkata, W.B.(India)

The author is a very senior officer of the Customs & Excise Department of Government of India. He has been practicing KP Astrology for over decades and has learnt it from reputed KP astrologer of Kolkata, late P. Roy Chowdhury. The author has also written Bengali book in KP astrology, which has been well received in Bengal.
The ascendant is occupied by Ketu and aspected by Jupiter. Ketu indicates some danger to the
native and Jupiter indicates that there will be some providential help. The owner of the Lagna posited in
5th
house that the lord of Lagna is well deposited and there is no danger to the life of the lady.
KP Rule :
Houses are to be considered 2,5,7 and 11 for second child. 2nd
house indicates increase in family
members due to birth of a child, 5th
house denotes progeny or 1st child, 7
th house is the 3
rd from 5
th and
here 3rd
is the younger child i.e. next conception by mother and 11th
house indicates fulfillment of all
desire.
Moon (Capricorn 6-32) : Moon indicated the nature of the query. Moon is in Sun star and Mercury sub.
Moon is occupant of 11 and owner of 5, Sun is occupant of 5 and owner of 6 and Mercury is occupant of
5 and owner of 4 and 7. Hence, the query is genuine.
Whether the matter is promised ?
7th
Cusp : Virgo 8-6 ( Mercury-Sun-Ven) : The 7th
cusp Sublord Venus is in the star of Jupiter and sub
of Rahu. Venus is the occupant of 5 and owner of 3 & 8. The starlord Jupiter is occupant of 5 and owner
of Lagna and 10. The Sublord Rahu is occupant of 7. Rahu represents Mercury, Mars and Saturn because
Nodes are to be taken as the lord of the sign, the lord of the star and the lord of the sub ( refer to 2nd
Reader, Page-323). Therefore, Rahu is the significator of houses2,4,5,7,8,9,11 and 12. Hence, the second
child birth is promised.

All the 9 planets are the significators of houses 2, 5, 7 & 11. To select the strongest and fruitful
ones, ruling planets will guide.
Ruling Planets :-The chart was judged on 09/08/2014, Saturday at 20-11 hrs. in Kolkata, West Bengal.
Ascendant Sub lord = Rahu
Ascendant Star lord = Jupiter
Ascendant Sign lord = Jupiter
Moon Sub lord = Mercury
Moon Star lord = Sun
Moon Sign lord = Saturn
Day lord ( Saturday) = Saturn
Ketu is in Pisces represents Jupiter, so Ketu is a ruling planet. Therefore, ruling planets are Sun, Mercury,
Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu.
The common planets between the significators of houses 2,5,7 & 11 and the ruling planets are Sun,
Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu. So the second child birth can take place during their conjoined
period provided transit agrees.
Since the expected event would take place within one month of time, I did not go for Dasa-Bhukti-
Anthra analysis. It is when Luminaries transit a position in the Zodiac ruled by the ruling planets, the
event will fructify.
Moon transits in Ketu star in Sun sign Leo on 25.08.2014. But the day is Monday and the very
next day is Tuesday. Moon and Mars are not among ruling planets. Moon will be in Sun star Sun sub in
Sun sign Leo on 27.08.2014. The day is Wednesday ruled by Mercury.
Now we have to check up whether transit of Sun agrees on that day. Sun enters the sign Leo ruled
by Sun on 17.08.2014. Sun transits Ketu star Saturn sub on that day i.e. 27.08.2014. Therefore, it is
expected that the delivery would take place on that day.
Actual Facts of the case :-
It is informed that the delivery was taken place on 27.08.2014 at 9-45 hrs.
At the end of this article, I would like to covey my pranams and regards to Lord Ganesha and to our
great Guruji Late Prof. K.S.Krishnamurti. I would also like to convey my regards to my Guru, Late P.

Vehicle Yoga and the Efficacy of the KP System
Partha Sarathi Rout (Sree Rudrapriyo)
n India, when Astrology was fast, losing its hold, our revered Guruji Late Prof. K.S. Krishnamurti
laboured hard to make Astrology as perfect a science as any other. He codified the principles
enunciated in old texts and added much more material and method. He was the first to dwell elaborately
on the efficacy of the nakshatras and their sub division. This has brought a revolution in predictive
astrology. After years of deep research he discovered the influence of the star and “sub”.
In the present day world every person aspires to be involved in luxurious and sensuous material world for
fulfillment of their comforts in life. In the present era every person bears a deep routed wish whether they
are being from a poor, a middle class or a rich family they always wish in life for a Dream House or a
good Car of their own choice some day.
In today’s world the need for a good personal car is very much necessary and people have become very
dependent to posses their own personal car. People can’t think in the present day world without having
his own personal vehicle of his own choice.
In today’s world car proves to be the most effective medium of transportation. We have evolved so much
from this discovery and now in the contemporary times, it is the best machine created by the mankind for
the most comfortable travelling and in his own privacy.
I
Partha Sarathi Rout (Sree Rudrapriyo) was born on 13th November 1980 in a small village named Nutangram of Purulia district in West Bengal. He is a graduate of B.Com from Burdwan University and he also holds Diploma in computer application. He is presently residing in Durgapur, West Bengal and is employed as a senior accountant with Jayshree Automobiles India Pvt. Ltd. (JCB Dealership) in head office in Durgapur, West Bengal. He had started his K.P. Astrological studies from “Krishnamurti Institute of Astrology” (KIA) of Kolkata under the institute’s Durgapur branch at a very young age of only 31 years in the year 2011. He is presently continuing his astrological studies as a student under his revered Guruji Shri Rabindranath Ghosh Mahasaya of “K.P. Astrological Research Institute” at Kolkata under the institute’s Durgapur branch. He had achieved the following titles in astrology and has been awarded with the title of “JYOTISH BIDYABHUSON” from Krishnamurti Institute of Astrology (KIA) and had also been awarded with the title of “JYOTISH ACHARYA” from Krishnamurti Institute of Stellar Astrology (KISA), Kolkata, West Bengal in the year 2012. He had also furthered his studies and achieved the following titles of “K.P. HORA RATNA” & “JYOTISH VACHASPATI” from “KP Stellar Astrological Research Institute” (KPSARI), Chennai in the year 2014. He is a very bright and promising astrologer in the field of K.P. Astrology and is presently carrying on his practice in Durgapur, West Bengal with great name and fame from all around far and near. So we can see that moon is related to 6, 10 and 11 i.e. related to service or Job. We can also understand
how badly the mental depression is. The negative house connection is also very dominant like 1,8,12 and
5, 9.
10th
Cusp Analysis: Now I moved to the 10th
sub lord. Here the 10th
sublord is Mercury.
Planet Occupant Owner Extended Signification Note
Mercury 7 3,6
Star
Lord Rahu 6
Mars (situated in 9
owner of 1,8)
Mercury --> (situated in
7
owner of 3,6)
In case of Rahu/Ketu we should first consider
the conjunct planet, then the aspected planet
then the star lord and finally the sign lord.
Here Rahu is not aspected/conjunct. The star
lord of Rahu is Mars and Rahu is situated in
Mercury Sign.
Sub
Lord Venus 2 2,7
Saturn (situated in 7
owner of 10 and
11)
Venus is conjunct with Saturn.
So the 10th
sublord is strongly signifying 6th
, 10th
and 11th
so service is there. She will also change the job
because of 1, 8 & 9 significations.
6th
Cusp Analysis: We also need to cross check this from 6th
sublord. Here the 6th
subord is Venus.
Planet Occupant Owner Extended Signification Note
Venus 2 2,7 Saturn (situated in 7 and owner of 10 and
11)
Star
Lord Saturn 7 10,11
Sub
Lord Saturn 7 10,11
So the job is confirmed with moderate income. The job will be service. Here I’ve not considered 7th
house
connection as business. 7th
house also denotes public interaction or interaction with clients. A call center/
BPO/Tech support job.
11th
Cusp Analysis: 11th
house the fulfilment of desire. Here the 11th
sub is Sun.
Planet Occupant Owner Extended Signification Note
JASA Vol. 4 (3) Jan-Mar 2015
63
Sun 7 5
Saturn (situated in 7 & owner of
10,11)
Venus (situated in 7 & owner of
2,7)
Sun is conjunct with Saturn
and also with Venus to
some extent
Star
Lord Jupiter 4 9,12
Sub
Lord Sun 7 10,11
So the desire for job will be fulfilled but because of the presence of 5,9,12 job satisfaction will not be
there and change is obvious.
2nd
Cusp Analysis: 2nd
house is for income/ financial position. Here the 2nd
sublord is Jupiter.
Planet Occupant Owner Extended Signification Note
Jupiter 4 9,12 Mars (situated in 9
owner of 1,8)
Jupiter is aspected by
Mars’ 8th
aspect. Vedic
aspect only.
Star Lord Mercury 7 3,6
Sub Lord Jupiter 4 9,12
Since 2nd
sub is signifying 1, 8, 9 and 12 the income will be moderate. Dissatisfaction will be there.
Note: 11th
sub sun is a fast moving planet and situated in a movable sign. It indicates a quick turnaround
of the event. Also see the ascendant. It’s Aries a movable sign and the degree is 15:33:20 indicates the
event is going to happen quickly.
Now let’s check the DBA for timing. Below is the signification table.
Cusp In Star Of
Occupants Occupants
In Star Of
Owners Owners
2 - - Mars Venus
6 Mercury Rahu Jupiter, Ketu Mercury
10 - - Venus Saturn
11 - - Venus Sun
At the time of judgment the ruling planets are
Asc. Star: Venus
Asc. Sign: Mars
Moon Star: Ketu (Ketu Situated in Jupiter sign so representing Jupiter)
Moon Sign: Sun
Day Lord: Saturn
The common significators of the ruling planets and the table are Venus, Mars, Ketu, Jupiter and Saturn.
So I decided to consider Ketu dasa, Jupiter bhukti. Now Saturn is also fruitful bhukti but still I went with
Jupiter why? Here Jupiter is Tier1 significator as well as Tier2 significator. But Saturn is only Tier1
significator. Another thought is Jupiter is coming as if Moon’s star (Through Ketu’s agent) whereas
Saturn is coming as a day lord in the Ruling Planet. So Jupiter is strong compare to Saturn.
JASA Vol. 4 (3) Jan-Mar 2015
64
Now I have to select the pratyantara dasa. To complete the chain of 2-6-10-11 I have selected Venus as
pratyantara. Venus is alone signifying all the 2, 10, 11 house. So I also dare to go ahead with this Venus
as the sookshma dasa. (To understand Tier1 and Tier2 significator please refer to Andrew Dutta’s
home Video Course)
Finally as per my analysis I said the lady will get the job in Ketu-Jupiter-Venus-Venus i.e. within
December 9th
to December 19th
2014. In my mind I also considered the transits since sun was about to
transit during this time.
By the blessing of Lord Uchchista Ganapati the prediction came true. Her husband informed me that on
15th
of December she got the job in a Multinational Company. It is a client interaction job. 18th
is the date
of joining.
I would like to conclude this article with my pranams to all my Gurus. In the new year of 2015 let’s pray
to the almighty to bless us so that we can develop some spiritual practice in our daily life and peep into
the divine planning with the knowledge of astrology. Good Luck!

in April 2013 in a Private Hospital on emergency. Before admitting his heart beat was affected by shock
and on many trials by the Hospital staff and Doctors,he started breathing.Later both his Kidneys stopped
functioning and was kept on dialysis. My Friend brought the Birth chart of the above said native and asked
me to examine it if there will be any cure for his ailments.I looked at the Birth Chart and said that till

nd lord in Bhadaka 11
th house.Rahu acts as an agent of Mercury the
lord of 6th
and 9th
houses posited in Maraka house 7 in conjunction with 8th
Lord Sun.Thus the 1st CSL
Rahu is connected to houses 1,2,7,8,11,6,9.This indicates that the Native is bound to have health
problems and longevity is medium as it is connected to houses 1,8 as well as Maraka and Badhaka house.

Cusp Sublord Sun which is 8th

the Maraka house and in conjunction with and in the Star of Mercury the 6th
and 9th

5.On May 12th

with 8th
Lord and significator of Heart ie,Sun.Mercury is in star of Saturn the 1st and 2

Bhukti Lord KETU:The Planet Ketu is occupant of 2nd
house and is aspected by Badaka lord Mars which

Antara Lord RAHU:Rahu as mentioned above is a significator of houses 1,2,7,8,11,6,9 indicating strong
connections to ailment and Maraka Badaka significations.
Hence from the above the DBA of MER-KET-RAHU is conjointly signifying Sickness and Maraka

DISEASE PARALYSIS & END OF LIFE – A KP CASE STUDY
Birendra K. Padhi
his is a case from my file of records. This case belongs to the query from one of my senior officer to
know the status of the patient from horoscope, who was his elder brother. He gave me the birth
particulars on Dec’2011at that time I was posted at Dibrugarh. One day suddenly my boss rang me
around 10am and by weeping informed me “Biren, today morning my brother passed away. The patient
lost his last breath on 24.06.2012 morning 7:20am through the chronic disease –Paralysis.
We all know Paralysis (Pakshaghata) is the loss of muscle movement in the body. Our sense of movement
is controlled by communication between the sensory nerves (which are part of the peripheral nervous
system) and the central nervous system (comprised of the brain and spinal cord). Disruption of
communication of nerve impulses anywhere along the pathway from the brain to the muscles can impair
control of muscle movement and cause muscle weakness and loss of coordination. Muscle weakness can
progress to paralysis, loss of the ability to move the muscles. In Ayurveda it is called as a Vata-
bikar/Vata-disorder. Astrology and Ayurveda are closely related and interlinked to each other.
Paralysis symptoms can occur anywhere in the body. They may occur on both sides of the body (bilateral)
or one side (unilateral). Paralysis occurring in the lower half of the body, below the midsection, is known
as paraplegia. Quadriplegia is paralysis occurring in both the arms and the legs. It is generally caused by
sudden strokes, polio, muscular dystrophy, brain haemorrhage etc.
Astrological Indicators
Astrologically, Saturn is the chief karaka planet for chronic disease. Saturn governs our central nervous
system situated in the brain, spinal cord, bones, hair, nails, gastric nerves etc. Mercury relates the entire
Nerves system. The planet Mars controls our blood circulation system and muscles movement in our
body. These are three planets are the main cause to Paralysis.

The highly inauspicious “Vainasika yoga” is formed when Hastam star falls on a Saturday when the thithi
is Tritiya, Saptami, Navami or Ekadasi.
The stars 9,18 and 27 come under a category of stars called “Parama Maithra” or extremely friendly stars.
However this rule is not true in hundred percent of the cases. For example the 27th
star is unsuitable for
marriage, travel and shaving. The 22nd
star though a “Kshema” nakshatra is a “Vainasika”( nakshatra
which brings about destruction) and therefore to be avoided. This “Vainasika” theory does not hold good
when birth star is Rohini,Pushya,Makha, Hasta, Uttaraphalguni, Chitra, Anuradha, Purvashadrapada,
Uttarashadrapada and Revati
For eating new grains and for the first use of flowers, fruits and leaves, Hasta is a good star. For
agricultural harvest, Hasta is a good star. For agricultural harvest, gathering and sharing, this is a good
star. For ploughing, Hasta is a good star. The same holds good for sowing seeds and planting .From this
discussion we can safely conclude that Hasta star is an ally of the diligent farmer, aiding and abetting all
his agrarian activities .
Beds and mats can be put to use for the first time in Hasta star. For Accounting, book keeping and
business transactions including buying and selling, Hasta is auspicious. This star is good for opening a
shop. It is suitable for all kinds of investments. For taking steps to conceive children, this is a favourable
star.
In this matter certain biological rhythms relating to the menstrual period of a woman need special
mention. Usually bathing after menses is on the 4th
day from the date of commencement of menses. If the
start of menses commences when the Moon is in an anupanchaya bhava reckoned from the Janma lagna
aspected by Mars, then that period is likely to lead to conception.
Assume for a moment, a woman is born in Aries lagna. If menses starts on a day when Moon is in
Gemini, Virgo, Capricorn or Aquarius, then that cycle will not prove successful. Let us assume Moon is
in Leo and Mars is in Aquarius. Now all the conditions are fulfilled as Moon is placed in a non-upachaya
bhava and gets aspected by Mars. Then that cycle would prove to be a harbinger of success.
There are some couples who are anxious to have children while others try to postpone the event. For both
categories, the above rules would be of use, provided they are willing to take astrological factors into
consideration for running their day – to – day lives.
To tonsure for the first time is an important samskara that has a bearing on health and longevity.
Normally we go to a barber when we reach a stage when our hair becomes unmanageable. This is in stark
contrast to our ancestors, who saw in an ordinary mundane matter like a haircut, an activity which would
influence our life either positively or negatively. Please note that when we are on the subject of Chowla,
we are talking about the haircut of a newborn child, which is done when the child is 3 years of age.
JASA Vol. 4 (3) Jan-Mar 2015
115
Tonsure is best done in Uttarayana and Suklapaksha. Some scholars opine that even when the Moon is
waning, the thithis till Panchami would still be auspicious. If this theory is accepted, then the first five
thithis from Amavasya, need to be rejected for want of Moon’s Pakshabala. A child becomes lustrous
when tonsure is done in Hasta star.
It is also believed that when Chowlam is done in the solar month of Capricorn it bestows prosperity;
Aquarius, progeny; Pisces, happiness; Aries, all kinds of grains; Taurus, success and Gemini, prosperity
of the family.
In respect of tonsure these are four precautions which need to be observed
i) Tonsure should not be done during the pregnancy of child’s mother.
ii) Tonsure should not be done when the child’s mother has her periods.
iii) When a marriage in the family has taken place, for the next six months this function should not be

When new clothes are worn on Hastam star, one gets very good clothes. Hastam is the best start for
construction of dining halls. In general for construction to commence, this star is auspicious. Two points
need attention in this context:
1.Mars in Hastam on a Tuesday is inauspicious for construction as it harms children.
1.Mercury in Hasta on Wednesday is very auspicious.
For learning any craft, say, painting, handicrafts or sculpture Hasta is a good star.
In olden times, crimes would be detected by forcing the suspect to undergo a divine test or by making him
prove his innocence in front of a deity. Development of forensic science, placement of closed circuit
cameras and surveillance have vastly changed the methodology in crime detection and prevention. To do
a lie detector test, Hasta is an auspicious star. Hasta also favours education in general, dance, music and
acting in particular.

For wearing ear ornaments, piercing the ear is a necessity. Some opine that piercing the ear is similar to
acupuncture and promotes health. This activity is recommended in Hasta star. Grammar, Logic or
Astrology can be mastered if the classes commence on a day ruled by Hasta. This star is suitable to
employ a servant.
The following if present constitute Saraswathi Yoga
1.Lagna is Gemini or Virgo
2.Day is Wednesday
3.Star is Hasta
4.Sun, Moon and Mercury occupy Gemini or Virgo in Navamsa.
The above Yoga is specifically recommended for commencement of the study of Vedas. For cutting nails,
shaving and grooming hair, Hasta is a good star. According to Kalaprakasika, Hasta is a good star for
Grahapravesh or entering a new house.
In litigation, involving land matters one must ensure that Mercury is well placed. Scooping out a handful
of Earth at a time when Moon is in the fourth pada of Bharani, Ardra, Vishaka or Hasta enables one to
gain possession of land when there is litigation over that property. A disease which commences in Hasta
gets cured in a week’s time. For intake of laxatives and purgatives or for giving enema, this star is
favoured. Hasta is an auspicious star for the coronation of a king. For the “Seemantha” function, Hasta is
an auspicious star. Hasta is a good star to travel especially for a person who has Moon in Taurus in the
natal chart. Hasta is also a good star to drive a vehicle for the first time.

KP RESEARCH ON POETS, AUTHORS & WRITERS
V.S.N. Murthy
poet is a person who writes poetry. The work of poets can be literally means a work that is derived
from a specific event or in a characteristic way. Poets have objective reality since antiquity, in nearly
all languages. Poets have made works to change from one condition to another of different cultures and
time periods.
Poetry is a form of literature that uses aesthetic and rhythmic qualities of language—such as
phonaesthetics, sound symbolism, and metre—to evoke meanings in addition to, or in place of, the
prosaic ostensible meaning.
Simple definition of a Poet is a person who writes poetry with a great imagination and creativity.
An author is broadly defined as "the person who originated or gave existence to anything" and whose
authorship determines responsibility for what was created. Narrowly defined, an author is the originator
of any written work and can also be described as a writer.
Author :- a person who writes a novel, poem, essay, etc.; the composer of a literary work, as
distinguished from a compiler, translator, editor, or copyist.
Writer:- a person engaged in writing books, articles, stories, etc., especially as an occupation or
profession; an author or journalist.
Let us know the life history in brief and the birth particulars of the Poets, Authors and Writers Which are
collected from “Astrodatabank” before analyzing their natal charts.

The analysis by conventional means revealed the following
On a brief look, the 7th
cuspal sub-lord Rahu may be examined. Rahu falls in the star of Saturn placed in
9th
house whereas its sub lord Sun as 12th
lord gets placed in 6th
house. This indicates her dissatisfaction
and possible discord in the marital life.
Now, examine this case from the angle of Trisphuta
JASA Vol. 4 (3) Jan-Mar 2015
155
Trisphuta Rashi Khand
a. Trisphuta falls in Sagittarius sign which is the destructive Rashi Khand, meaning that the Trisphuta
placed in this portion of Signs would carry the evil to destroy the areas of life influenced by it.
b. Trisphuta falls in the 3rd
house which is not only the house of self-assertions but also the 9th
house
from 7th
house, meaning that the luck (9th
house) of marital life (7th
house) is governed by the 3rd
house. Trisphuta harms this area of life.
c. Trisphuta falls in Sagittarius Sign and Moola nakshatra lorded by Ketu. Thus, Jupiter is Trisphuta
Deha lord and Ketu is Trisphuta Jeeva lord.
Ketu is harmful to the native and may try to destroy or break the marital life by its placement in 8th
house,
as Ketu is a maraka to the marital life (7th
house). This is at a gross level and other finer indications would
modify it.
Trisphuta in KP framework
a. Saturn is the sub-lord of Trisphuta hence Saturn is primarily a negative planet in the life of the native.
The native was married in Saturn dasha to suffer punishment through marriage.
b. Saturn is not a strong planet as there are planets placed in its stars. Saturn is placed in 9th
house which
affects childbirth (for female nativity) and pushes towards bad luck in life.
c. Readers may note that Trisphuta is placed in 3rd
house and Trisphuta sub-lord is placed in 9th
house
which is 3rd
house from 7th
house. This causes a serious communication gap between the couples by
the blockages of mutual 3rd
house.
d. The planets Sun, Jupiter and Rahu are placed in the stars lorded by the Saturn which is the sub-lord of
Trisphuta. Readers may note that Sun, Jupiter and Rahu would follow the trends of Trisphuta in
causing maleficience.
e. Readers may note that Sun and Jupiter are placed in 6th
house of discord. This means that the discord
would be initiated by the spouse (6th
house) and would be difficult to be resolved due to
communication gap existing between them.
f. The open discord with the spouse started in Moon antar dasha in Saturn dasha operating till May 01,
2012. It would be important to note that Saturn casts trinal aspect to Moon (western aspect) and
aspects planets in 6th
house by graha drishti. Thus both Moon and Sun-Jupiter get the influence of
Saturn. It is no wonder that discord started in Saturn – Moon dasha.
g. Let us assess if Moon is too bad to break the marriage. Moon is primarily 11th
lord which in principle
a good lord for marital harmony. Moon as 11th
lord placed in Lagna would try establishing marital
amicability.
However, Moon falls in the star of Rahu which is tainted by Trisphuta, thus Moon can definitely use
disturbance in life due to evils of part karmas. Moreover, Moon is in the sub of strong 10th
lord Mercury
JASA Vol. 4 (3) Jan-Mar 2015
156
placed in 5th
house but close to 6th
house from behind. This makes me conclude that though Moon is
tainted for evils may actually not break the marriage.
h. It was learnt that Mother-in-law was the main culprit to trigger discord by influencing her son against
the native. Note that Mercury is the strong 10th
lord and sub-lord of 10th cuspal sub-lord, which deals
with Mother-in-law.
Mercury falls in the star of Jupiter placed in 6th
house and sub of Ketu placed in 8th
house. Both these
indications are negative for the amicability of the marriage. Since Mercury is the Lagna lord of the native,
she can get harmed by the mother-in-law.
i. It would be interesting to note that Saturn was transiting in Hasta Nakshatra in the beginning of 2011
when the discord started. Saturn being the sub-lord of Trisphuta brought into action the karmic
compulsions and through Moon antardasha, it caused marital discord. Perhaps, Saturn’s transit in
subsequent Chitra nakshatra would have resolved the matter to near normal.
Readers may note that Trisphuta explained the reasons of marital discord well even without touching the
basic conventional KP analysis.
Example-2
In the process of writing this article, a client approached to me at 18-02-11 Hrs on 04-01-2015 at
Bangalore to consult. Let us understand what for this native came to me and if Trisphuta can help me
identify?
Calculate Gulika
The delineation of time chart was done at 18-02 Hrs whereas the Sunset was occurring at 18-05 Hrs,
hence the chart delineation would be considered to happen in daytime. With this reason, the Dinamaan
would be required to calculate Gulika. With the Day being Sunday, the 1st Yama in Dinamaan would
start from Sun and the Gulika would rise after the completion of 7 Yamas. Readers may do the Gulika
calculations themselves.
Longitude of Gulika = 60-55-19 (d-m-s) = Gemini 00-55-19 (d-m-s)
Calculate Trisphuta
Trisphuta = Lagna + Moon + Gulika
= (79-41-18) + (72-01-12) + (60-55-19)
= 212-37-49 (d-m-s)
JASA Vol. 4 (3) Jan-Mar 2015
157
= Scorpio 02-37-49 (d-m-s)
= Mars (sign lord) – Jupiter (Star lord) – Rahu (Sub-lord) – Venus (sub-sub lord)
Trisphuta Rashi Khand
a. Trisphuta falls in Scorpio sign which belongs to the Sustenance Rashi Khand, meaning that the
Trisphuta placed in this portion of Signs would sustain the evil to the areas of life influenced by it.
This means that the evils created by Trisphuta would be continuing in life and would be sustained for
suffering.
b. Trisphuta falls in the 5th
house which is not only the house of creativity, power, position and
emotional life, it is also the 11th
house from 7th
house and 8th
house from 10th
house, meaning that the
emotional life and dissatisfaction in profession could be a possible hit. Trisphuta harms this area of
life persistently and the native may have internal pinch internally.
c. Mars and Ketu are the Trisphuta Deha planet. Careful look reveals that exalted (strong) Mars is placed
in 8th
house pointing to breakage of marriage and Ketu gets placed in 10th
house pointing to blockage
in professional front.
d. Trisphuta falls in Vishakha nakshatra lorded by Jupiter, which is Trisphuta Jeeva planet. Jupiter is 7th
and 10th
lord placed in 2nd
house. Thus, the evil carried over by Trisphuta centers around Marriage (7th
house), Profession (10th
house) and Finance (2nd
house).
Trisphuta in KP framework
a. Rahu is the sub-lord of Trisphuta hence Rahu is primarily a negative planet in the life of the native.
Rahu is placed in 4th
house which harms the family life and peace of mind and can break family.
b. Moon is placed in the stars lorded by Rahu, thus Moon gets evil portfolio to harm wherever it is
placed. Moon being in 12th
house shows financial loss and tendency to cause discord with some
family member (2nd
lord). 12th
lordship of Moon indicates discord originating from the native himself.
c. Rahu is the cuspal sub-lord of 7th
and 11th
house, thus it directly harms marriage and amicability of
life in general.
d. Prashna Dasha of Rahu-Saturn was running till Sep 2015. Rahu is already identified evil for marriage
above. Saturn is in own star and in sub of Mercury placed in 7th
house.
Summary of observations
By the observations of Trisphuta alone and without looking his birth chart, I had firmly concluded that
there should be a serious problem going in the marriage towards discord and financial loss. Additionally,
there could be a roadblock in profession also.
Facts of the case
The native was seriously bothered and was stuck because of a divorce case going on the court of law with
heavy financial burden likely coming overhead. He was wanted a job change even though he did not find
any problem either with his job or the boss.

whether Trisphuta indicated the problem areas without resorting to the conventional KP analysis

Conclusion
I have been very conservative to give only 2 demonstrative examples to prove the usage scenario of
Trisphuta in a birth chart and in a prashna chart for the sake of brevity, though I have innumerous cases in
records, where this concept has been proved par-excellence. As said earlier, The usage of Trisphuta is
not limited to birth charts alone but is applicable for any matter under the sky on any chart in
imagination.
I hope, readers would appreciate the import of the knowledge of Trisphuta from Prashna domain to KP.
The Trisphuta bring-in a lot of dynamism in the chart and gives independent opinion on the involved
Bhavas in a tone which is based on the flaws created at Karmik levels of the past births.
Similar to the appeal that I had posted when I introduced innovative concept of LSPs, Fertilility related
sphutas and BTSP in earlier years; I again request the readers to tryout the Trisphuta concept on their
day to day delineations and embrace this research idea whole-heartedly, perhaps to their acceptance and
benefits.
I bow my head to Sri Krishnamurthy to have devised an innovative predictive methodology that embraces
advanced innovations in it and is ever expandable to the research needs.

Editor’s Note
This article has a very high potential to provide precise analysis of
horoscopes. It is a brilliant adaptation of traditional method with
modern concept and context. The application of the method with
KP is the most innovative.
