KIYOMIZUDERA TEMPLE, Kyoto. Kiyomizudera was founded in 780 at the request of Sakanoue-no-Tamuramaro. The main hall of this temple, built in 1633, is famed mainly for its wide wooden veranda in front, protruding over a steep cliff, from which a panoramic view of the city can be seen.

Daibutsu, Great Buddha at Kamakura: The dignified holy image of buddha has been exposed to the sunshine, to the storm and snowy weathers for these 700 years keeping its original shape even at present time. The height of statue is 42 feel and the weight is 121 tons.

HIMEJI CASTLE: Himeji Castle in Himeji City is popularly called “Shirasagi Castle” for the white plastered wall. It has several spots famed for the traditions and stories in the rooms. The castle structure is now protected as a national treasure.

Kintai Bridge is wooden five-span fantastic bridge which spans Nishiki River emptying into Hiroshima Bay. It is also called “Soroban” or Abacus Bridge for the look of its reverse side.

Mt. Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan and its perfect cone rises to a height of 12,397 feet above sea level, and its base circumference is about 63 miles. In the season-July and August-more than many people climbed the mountain.

Ryoanji Temple, founded in 1473, belongs to the Rinzai sect of Zen Buddhism. The temple garden with its white sand and 15 stones, is the most famous example of a Hiraniwa (flat garden without any hills or ponds) in Japan.

Sanja-sai, Asakusa, Tokyo. This event is the festival of Asukusa Shrine, and is one of the most lively and traditional festivals which is held for four days about May 18 every year, since the Edo Era.
