• Clothes are similar to clothing we wear in the United States and Western Europe. Most Children in Japan wear uniforms in school.

Food/natural resources

• Traditionally people that eat at home eat fish and rice, with every meal they drink tea. Mostly, people eat out at restaurants like McDonalds and Denny’s though.

Japanese Babies

• When a Japanese baby is about 3 days old they go to a special ceremony with lots of friends and relatives. They bring lots presents for the baby. When a Japanese baby is one month old the priest puts the baby’s name in record. That means that the baby is officially part of the community

• A famous landmark in Japan would be Tokyo. It is the capital in Japan and is always very busy. Another Cool place in Japan would be Mount Fiji.

• Most people that live in cities Usually live in high-rise apartments. To get to work or anywhere else they take a train or a bus.

• Japan was first found by the first empire named Jimmu. He found it in 660 B.C.

• Kids start school in nursery school when they are 3, and then elementary by age 6. Middle school starts at about 12. After that they move on to high school.

• In Japan the southern islands usually are warmer than the northern islands are. All of the islands on Japan get plenty of rain.

• Kung-Fu is a competitive sport that was only passed down in the family. Now in schools they teach it! It is very good for mental and physical health.

• Homes usually have a kitchen and 3-4 other rooms. All the walls of a Japanese house have bamboo strips.
