As most of you know the 4-H year started anew on September 1 st and we have been busy planning and organizing for another great 4-H year in Wexford County. In an attempt to keep us all connected we will be publishing a quarterly email newsletter. This newsletter will also be available around town, online and at our office. I want to make sure that all of our members know that once you have paid your participation fee for the year, you can join in on other clubs with no extra fee. So, be sure to stay connected and watch for other fun things throughout the year. You can also follow us on Facebook at Wexford County 4-H. Im very happy to report that we have received a donation from the Senior Center of 5 additional sewing machines. Our Sewing club started in November as a short term club but they have decided to become a project club and continue meeting throughout the year. Contact the office if you are interested in joining in on the sewing projects. You can even show them off at the Northern District Fair! As always, if you have any questions or comments do not hesitate to contact Jessica, our office manager or myself. Happy New Year 2017!

As most of you know the 4-H year started anew on September 1st and we have been busy planning and organizing for another great 4-H year in Wexford County. In an attempt to keep us all connected we will be publishing a quarterly email newsletter. This newsletter will also be available around town, online and at our office.

I want to make sure that all of our members know that once you have paid your participation fee for the year, you can join in on other clubs with no extra fee. So, be sure to stay connected and watch for other fun things throughout the year. You can also follow us on Facebook at Wexford County 4-H.

2017 January 28: State 4-H Rabbit & Cavy Show https://events.anr.msu.edu/event.cfm?eventID=548EEEDFD1D9C7E0 MSU Pavilion, Lansing This one-day event is open to participants aged 9 to 19 by Jan.1 of the current year. Exhibi-tors must be Michigan 4-H members and must own the rabbits or cavies (guinea pigs) they enter. January 28-29: Youth Leadership & Global Citizenship Spectacular http://msue.anr.msu.edu/events/4_h_youth_leadership_global_citizenship_spectacular Kettunen Center, Tustin The workshop features 21 incredibly fun sessions focused on youth leadership, civic engage-ment, global citizenship, international cultures, life skills and career exploration and work-force preparation.
