Event: Spring Sports Try-outs Date: Tuesday – Friday, January 7 – 9, 2015 Location: Health and Fitness Center (Gym) Summary: Students who are interested in competitive sports have an opportunity to participate on

our extramural teams. The teams are trained by sports professionals and compete against club sports teams from colleges around the state of Texas. The try-out times are as follows: Women’s Basketball 3:30 pm – 5 pm; Men’s Basketball 5 pm – 6:30 pm; and Cheerleading 6:30 pm – 8 pm

Event: Welcome Week 2015 Days: Tuesday – Friday, January 20 – 23, 2015 Times: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm Location: MLK Campus Courtyard Summary: Visit the SPC Blue tents located near the CLR and Turbon Student Center. Student leaders

SPC Spirit Day Every FRIDAY!

Each week the Spirit and Pride Crew and the Department of Student Life hosts Spirit Day. Wear your favorite St. Philip’s shirt, or wear the school colors – blue and white. Then stop by the Heritage Pavilion

on the MLK Campus or the Crossroads on the SPC - Southwest from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. There are themes for each week: 1st Friday of the month is a celebration of birthdays with cake and song; 2nd Friday is a spirit prize wheel; 3rd Friday is a festive treat; and, 4th Friday is the monthly Grand Prize
