Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: Hitch-hiked 3 months in Europe with David during our senior year at CSU. Moved to Florence in 1970 and taught Theater, Speech, and English at FHS. Moved to Englewood where we had our children and lived for 7 years. Moved to Salida in 1978 where I was the lead in two community plays, and did dramatizations of local historical women.Moved to Canon in 1989, where spending time with our children and grandchildren has been without question been the most memorable experience of my life. It's been a true blessing being with them from toddlers to adults. i thank the Lord for them every day.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: I left Canon and moved to Pueblo and graduated from East High. Attended SCSC and then got married in 1967. Husband worked for Pueblo Army Depot and got transferred to Hill AFB in Ogden, Ut. Have lived in Utah since then. I started working for IRS and then transferred to Hill AFB and retired after 30 years. Our home is on 10 acres and we grow and sell alfalfa. Come to Colorado often as my brother still lives in Canon

Jim and wife Barbara were married in 1973 and Jim received a Masters degree from Denver Seminary in 1980. In 1982 Jim and Barbara moved to Argentina and lived in Argentina and Brazil for 28 years. Upon retiring and returning to the United States Jim began serving as a Christian apologist with Haven Ministries. Jim promotes Christian/Atheist dialogue on college campuses and street malls.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: After high school, I was graduated from Southern Colorado State College with a degree in English and mass communications. I worked for the Pueblo Chieftain as a reporter, business columnist and financial editor until starting BellCours & Co. Insurance in January 1984, which I continue to operate today. Now a longtime resident of Penrose, I also have Horizon Morgan Horses and worked a year as a graveyard slot attendant in Cripple Creek (proved to be too much, burning the candle at both ends) to try something entirely different. Overall, my life has been and is good, and I have no regrets.

While in Germany visited several European countries. Both girls born in Germany.In the USA stationed in N. M. and Va. After Retiring in 1985, worked for McDonald Douglas for 2 yrs in Saudi Arabia. Went to work for Werner Enterprises in 1990 logged over 2million miles without an accident and traveled coast to coast and border to border and went into Canada and Mexico. Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: While a student and after graduating from the Colorado School of Mines I spent over 38 years working for the U.S. Geological Survey on a variety of interesting applied research projects, from underground nuclear weapons testing and radioactive waste disposal, to earthquake and landslide hazards. My most memorable life experiences involve meeting and marrying my wife Jeanine, helping to raise a wonderful stepson, and the birth and joy of each of our two sons and a granddaughter. France, Switzerland, and Belgium. It was an amazing experience.I have been a nurse since 1967 and am still working part time as a school consultant and a home health nurse. I can honestly say that I like nursing as well today as I did the first day I worked. Neal and I travel frequently for his work and when we retire we are going to buy a motorcycle (trike) and travel even more.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: After graduation I attended Southern Colorado State, after two years married, I am divorced.I have traveled the world for the past 33 years visiting every continent and almost every country. I have escorted groups on all of these trips. I have just completed my 266th cruise and have enjoyed everyone. I plan on continuing to travel as long as I am able. Some of my favorites The Great Wall of China twice, Antarctica, the Orient, the Mediterranean, Alaska 49 times and many more exciting places. I still have many places I want to visit.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: My last wife of eighteen (18) years died at the age of 36 with breast cancer. My dad died at the age of 48 from prostate cancer. My mom is 92 now but had her bouts with melanoma and breast cancer. She is at the Hildebrand Nursing home. I graduated from the University of Southern Colorado with a BS Degree in Behavioral Science and was a Captain at the prison for 34. years. I have two (2) boys who live in Canon City and I have 7 grandchildren.

Had 4 boys and became manager and part owner of New Method Laundry. 3 of 4 boys married so enjoying grandchildren and great grandchildren. After 48 years of marriage, lost Nita to breast cancer. Went through triple bypass and pacemaker surgery. God gave me a second chance and brought a lovely woman into my life at church. We were married on 4-18-2015 and am so enjoying the opportunity to spend time with my family, my new wife, and our 4 legged baby, Elsa.

I enjoy annual camping activities each summer with friends from Canon City, and getting together with band friends I played with during our High School years. I continue to stay active as a trumpet player in a brass quintet, band, orchestra and brass band, and pick up a little work with other groups at the opportunity presents itself. Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: After graduating from the University of Northern Colorado in 1968, I served as a pilot in the USAF for the next twenty years. We moved to Merced, CA ,in 1983 and, after retiring from the Air Force, I worked as a high school math teacher from 1990 to 2005. Since my second retirement, I've volunteered in the school of our two grandsons mostly tutoring students in math. We also visit our third grandchild who lives in Sacramento very frequently.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: After graduating from UNC in Greeley I began by teaching career in California. The majority of my 35 years as a teacher and administrator were done in Pueblo, mostly in special education or other programs for at-risk kids. Since retiring I have done volunteer work, traveled more, and co-authored a book on women's history and fashion. Ron and I spend time every day walking by the river with our third yellow Lab, Scout.

Family: I married my husband, John in 1973. We have 2 daughters and 1 son.

Interests: My interests are hiking, climbing mountains, skiing & snowshoeing.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: I taught math & computer science at Western State College. I also coached the Nordic ski team in Gunnison, and was a scout master with the Boy Scouts, taking them all over the mountains, hiking and backpacking. My greatest thrill was climbing the Matterhorn in Switzerland with one of my daughters. Now I continue to spend as much time as possible above tree line, and I especially enjoy hiking with our 4 granddaughters. When not in the mountains, I enjoy reading and gardening. I am blessed to have a wonderful family and to live in Gunnison. Life is good!

Family: Married Bill Burnham from our class. Son, Kurt, and two grandsons.

Interests: Travel (41 countries so far), reading, endangered species

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: Taught school in Colorado and Utah while Bill earned his Ph.D. For 38 years worked in Idaho as Administrator of international non-profit working with birds of prey in 14 countries. Bill died from brain cancer in 2006. I retired to Illinois in 2013 to be close to my son Kurt and his wife and my grandsons Bridger (6) and Finn (4). Kurt got his doctorate from Oxford University and has a non-profit organization working in Greenland. I travel extensively and volunteer in Bridger's classroom. I administer the William Burnham Memorial Fund which provides grants for work with birds of prey.
