WEBSITE• Create a lead magnet (i.e. a free resource/offer designed to attract your ideal customers/clients)
• Add pop-ups/banners with a call-to-action for your lead magnet on your most visited pages and
in your sidebar
• Install a live messenger bot like Manychat to deal with enquiries from prospective customers
(you’ll be able to stay in touch after that initial enquiry)
EMAIL• Add a call-to-action in your email signature for your lead magnet
• Email your list (if you have one) to let them know about your lead magnet
• Use a resource like Leadpages to create a landing page and dedicated link people can use to share
your lead magnet easily with friends
FACEBOOK• Post regular content on your Facebook page that will engage your ideal clients/customers
• Participate in Facebook groups where your ideal clients hang out (don’t sell - answer their
questions and be a helpful resource)
• Add a link to your lead magnet in your business page bio
• Create dedicated banners for your Facebook page and group(s) promoting your lead magnet
• Start a Facebook group for your ideal customers/clients
• Do regular Facebook Live broadcasts from your business page (and in your group if you have one)
• Invite guests to take part in your Facebook Live broadcasts (you can stream live to multiple pages
meaning you can reach a bigger audience)
• Post about what you are up to on your personal Facebook profile (but do make sure you are always
directing people to your business page)
• Use a Facebook messenger bot like Manychat to communicate with existing/prospective clients
• Comment on the pages of your ideal customers/clients (they won’t be able to resist checking out
yours - so make sure there’s something useful on yours)

• Take part in relevant Twitter chats (i.e. those your ideal customers/clients take part in)
• Create your own Twitter chat

• Make Twitter lists of your ideal clients/customers and have conversations with them daily (start by
liking and retweeting, then move on from there)
• Create your own awareness day and get it trending on Twitter
• Add a link to a free resource/download in your bio
• Create dedicated banners for your Twitter profile promoting your lead magnet
LINKEDIN • Use LinkedIn’s Sales Navigator to identify and connect with your ideal clients
• Publish articles, posts and documents that are relevant to your audience
• Start a LinkedIn group for your ideal customers/clients
• Apply for LinkedIn Live so you can broadcast live video to your followers
• Comment on other peoples’ posts (they won’t be able to resist checking out your profile -
so make sure there’s some interesting posts on yours)
• Create a dedicated banner promoting your lead magnet (in the section behind your
profile picture)

• Use Instagram Stories to share behind the scenes of your business (including polls and questions

• Record short IGTV videos about topics that will interest your ideal clients/customers
• Use hashtags that are popular with your ideal customers/clients
• Spend time each day commenting on accounts using hashtags that are popular with your ideal
customers/clients (they won’t be able to resist checking out your profile - so make sure there’s
some interesting posts on there)
CONTENT• Publish a weekly podcast, YouTube video or blog
• Repurpose your content into different formats so you can reach more people
GUEST CONTENT• Pitch yourself as a podcast guest on shows that are popular with/relevant to your ideal
customers/clients
• Write guest blog posts for other blogs/websites
• Speak at other peoples’ events
• Offer to teach guest classes for other business owners with similar audiences
