Automation Criteria for

The process needs to be fixed, i.e. the process is
repetitive and follows a set of pre-defined process
steps (exceptions possible as long as they are pre-
defined).
There is no human (voice) interaction in the
process (either internally or externally). However, the
automation is able to send standardized e-mails as
output.
The triggers and inputs to initiate the automation
are come in a standard, pre-defined format (e.g. a
task in Mosaic, an order in Cordys). Same applies for
process outputs.
There is no cognitive, human decision required in
the process (decisions based on reason, merit). For
example, whether or not to impose a fine, terminate
the connection.
The process is large enough to warrant the
investment. Processes with very limited volumes or
handling time are to be processed manually (break-
even point is around 0.3 FTE).
The process is stable; meaning that the process is
not overhauled, adjusted frequently(to avoid constant
maintenance to the automation)
