| PERSONAL PROFILE I am an urban planner specialized in the
intersection between environmental planning and social justice.
Currently, I hold the position of Senior Researcher and Co-Director
of an EU-funded lab with 11 doctoral and postdoctoral members.
Throughout my early professional years at Columbia University,
Northeastern University, and the Autonomous University of
Barcelona, I have built a strong international profile in my area.
My published works thus far are focused on urban environmental
stewardship, urban social justice, urban greening, and critical
urban sustainability and resilience politics in 39 peer-reviewed
articles, 2 co-authored academic books (1 more sole-authored in
development), 2 book reviews, 12 reports, and 51 conference
presentations/invited talks. I have co-advised 11 PhD students;
have strong academic administration experience; and have extensive
graduate and undergraduate teaching (beginning in 2004) with a
solid record of evaluations.
