... COVID-19-Induced Major Innovations In JAMBto yield, for example, ‘0700-JAMB-BAO’ to indicate JAMB Bayelsa State Office, Otuoke Centre, as opposed to ‘0700-JAMB-BAY’ for the parent Office. However, to avoid clashes in interpreting the numbers, a few of the phone numbers of some subsidiary offices did not start with the first letter of their towns. The Board is mindful of the fact that the normal eleven digit numbers are difficult to memorize but when it comes to SMA(R)T numbers, all a candidate needs to do is simply to add the last three letters of the State Capital of his choice to '0700-JAMB'. Members of the public are to note that these phone lines, while nottoll-free, would be accessible on all networks.HOW TO DIAL THE SMA(R)T NUMBERS: To call any of the numbers, all a candidate
needs to do to attain the alphabets would be to s imply dial , just once, the corresponding letters on the numeric keys. For instance, ‘5’ would yield ‘J’, ‘K’ and ‘L’ etc. Each number on the numeric phone key (from 2 to 9) would bear the letters under it. Note that the letters dialed will be displayed as digits e.g:0700-JAMB- ABI sha l l d isp lay as 07005262224 when dialed from the numeric phone keys. WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?The Board, ever conscious of its social responsibility to the public, has put these preventive health strategies in place as part of the overall measures taken to reduce physical/social distancing in compliance with prevailing protocols on COVID-19.Below are the SMA(R)T numbers of the offices and PTC centres.
“2”. Consequently, a l l SMA(R)T JAMB numbers would include 5262. Therefore all JAMB numbers in different offices are unified with 0700-5(J)2(A)6(M)2(B) before the 3 or 4 other numbers for the state or centre. This would make it easy for a candidate to remember the constant -0700-5262.These dedicated numbers are meant to facilitate round-the-clock access to JAMB services. All JAMB SMA(R)T phone lines would commence with ‘0700’, followed by “JAMB” and then the first three letters of each State with the exception of one or two States that did not follow the sequence of the first three letters. For instance, Abia State would have ‘0700-JAMB-ABI’ as its phone number. Where a State Office has a subsidiary, the letter of that subsidiary office would be captured

...“You Can Print Your Result Notification Now”- JAMB Tells Candidatespredicated on the gradual easing of the lockdown and resumption of economic activities in most parts of the country.
The Board wishes to advise candidates to be wary of f raudulent e lements masquerading as JAMB agents stating that it has not mandated any person or group to do the printing on behalf of the Board. Candidates are to note also that delegating this responsibility to third parties could result in wilful manipulation of their results.
Recall that last year some candidates who abused this privilege by attempting to manipulate their scores were caught and are currently saving various jail terms.
Candidates are advised to note that any attempt to forge the slip would attract stiff sanctions.
The decentralization of printing of result notification slips was done mainly to comply with the directives of the NCDC and other relevant agencies on social distancing. It is against this background that the Board is urging candidates to note and adhere strictly to other precautionary health measures such as wearing of face masks, washing of hands, among others, in order to mitigate the spread of the virus.
free as it is different from the original result s l ips that comes with the candidate's picture.
Candidates can print their result notification slip anywhere in the country even from the comfort of their homes once there is internet access.
The Board has, until now, restricted the printing of result notification slips and had made it available to candidates only through SMS to avoid anxiety on the part candidates as well as prevent clustering at cybercafes with the attendant risk of COVID-19 contagion all in a bid to print result notifications.
This new development, however, is
