A Bengali-language article of Jerome D'Costa on the Jagoroni Handicrafts Centre in Tejgaon of Dhaka, Bangladesh. It tells the background and activities (training of poor rural women in producing handicrafts and management of local women's groups, implementation of strict quality control, and marketing of handicrafts through the Jute Works, a project of the Caritas Bangladesh. At the time of writing of this article (Christmas of 1977), Sister Mary Lillian, S.M.R.A., was running the Centre.
