Exposition

• Poor widow and her son named Jack and a cow named Milky White

Complication

• The cow gave no milk.• Decided they had to sell the cow.

Rising Action

• He goes to the market to give the cow away for five beans.

• Beans are supposed to grow to the sky in one night.

Climax

• In the morning he climbs up the beanstalk.• He meets an orgors wife who gives him

breakfast.• Then the giant comes and tries to eat him.• The ogor takes a nap.• He stole the ogors bags of gold when he was

sleeping.• Him and his mom live off the gold until it runs

out.

Falling Action

• When he runs up the beanstalk he gets more gold.

• The orgors wife tells him to go away.• He stole the golden hen.

Denouncement

• The golden hen laid eggs whenever it was told to.
