THANKS

Welcome to the 2013 Louisiana Legacy golf tournament! Each year, the event gets bigger

and better, thanks to all of you and especially to the Country Club of Louisiana.

As a technology leader, AT&T proudly supports Junior Achievement. Through donations,

job-shadowing events and fundraisers such as Louisiana Legacy, we’re helping shape

tomorrow’s leaders today. I know all of you feel the same about this great organization.

Junior Achievement provides leadership skills, mentoring and education that gives

participants a leg up as they develop their potential. As business leaders, we all know

that educated, professional and prepared young people will contribute greatly to

business success in the future.

I look forward to seeing you at the tournament.

In 2006, Paul Mainieri’s vision was to “…return LSU to the pinnacle position in college baseball.” Three years later, LSU became NCAA National Champions. And his vision became reality.

Fortunately for Tiger fans, Mainieri continued to set his sights even further, leading LSU to two CWS appearances, three NCAA Regional titles, two SEC championships, three SEC Tournament titles, three SEC Western Division crowns, and became one of only seven coaches to win a National Championship – and 1,000 career games.

But it’s beyond the eld where his commitment to community is clearly visible. He enlists his players to visit local hospitals and schools, participate in charity walks and fundraisers, and is personally involved in numerous causes including Cancer Services of the Greater Baton Rouge Area, the ALS Association, and the McMains Development Center for Children.

Mainieri and his wife Karen have four children: Nicholas, Alexandra, Samantha and Thomas. In January of 2011, Paul and Karen welcomed their rst grandchild, Holden Brooks Roth.
