Ivan Shtyl (was born in August 6, 1986) is
a Russian sprint canoer, who has competed since 2004. He has won nine medals at
the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships (five gold
and four silver).
He took part in the Olympic Games and won a bronze medal.

Ivan began rowing in 1998, when he was 12 years old. His first trainer was Bral S.G.
He is a six-time World Champion (2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011) and five-time Champion of Europe (2006,
2007, 2008, 2009)
