Telegram Service
SloveniaCommunication of 1.IV.2004:
POŠTA SLOVENIJE d.o.o., Maribor, announces that all telegrams to and from Slovenia are routed via Unitel Telegram Services as from 5 April 2004.
All telegrams for delivery in Slovenia should use the Telegram Destination Indicator “SIXX”. Only ordinary rate telegrams are accepted. Addresses may be TFx (Telephone delivery), FAXx (Facsimile delivery) or full postal addresses. The

terminal accounting rate requirement for telegrams to Slovenia is 0.229 SDR per ordinary word. The cascade accounting is done by Unitel Telegram Services. The telegrams with special services LX (De luxe form) and LXDEUIL (De luxe form of condolence) are accepted only to and from Croatia.

The delivery of telegrams in Slovenia remains unchanged. Telegrams received by 1200 hours (local time) from Monday through Friday will be delivered on the same working day. Telegrams received by 1100 hours (local time) on Saturday are possibly delivered on the same day, depending on the opening hours of local postal offices. The telegram delivery on Sundays or Slovenian official holidays is, for the time being, only possible in the two cities: Ljubljana and Maribor.
