A NEW STANDARD IN TIRE MONITORING
A NEW STANDARD IN TIRE MONITORING
British engineering at it’s bestA new standard in tyre monitoring
1It is estimated that more than half of OTR trucks
used globally run without electronic temperature
and pressure monitoring systems (TPMS).
3However, almost all other
TPMS systems cannot be used to maximize
truck productivity ald tire performance because
they lack live monitoring integrated with truck location
and speed.
2Most modern TPMS, when
properly set up and reliable, will create significant value
for a mine through increased tire life, decreased truck
downtime, and reduced risk of accidents.
4Integration of real time Temperature & Pressure
data with precise positioning allows the next level of analytics and reporting. It enables ACTIONABLE
ANALYSIS.
Why use a TPMS?
6 Axis Accelerometer• Measure the movement of the vehicle in all six axis
• Does not require additional equipment to be fitted to the vehicles in order to carry out haul route analysis
• Data is constantly recorded and sent to the server
• Maximise haul route cycle times
Mobi Track/Tire Lab• Android based app
• Quickly view temperature and pressure data for selected vehicle
• Digital inflation tool for accurate first inflation
• View pressure as either true tire chamber pressure or calculated cold pressure
• Tire inspection data link to server
• Tread depth recorded using the Translogik iProbe EM (OTR)
Key Functionality
• Dual SIM Cellular Connectivity
• Wi-Fi (MIMO)
• GPS (Including GLONASS)
• 6 Axis accelerometer
• CAN Interface
• Internal UPS (12 hours)
• Military Spec Cables
• USB Port (data download)
• Ethernet Port (RJ45)
A New Standard in Tire MonitoringThe iTrack II Mining Tire Monitoring System provides fast, accurate, reliable real-time data on the condition of your tires, combined with live tracking of vehicle location and status. Existing iTrack users have reported increases in tire life of up to 30% and fuel savings of up to 2%. Savings of this magnitude provide a rapid return on investment with the iTrack system paying for itself in as little as 6 months.

• Increase in average truck speed
• Increase in production
• Increase in tire life by up to 30%
• Avoid tire failures
• Reduce thermal separations
• Improve safety
• Reduce cycle times
• Reduce fuel usage by up to 2%
• Increase vehicle availability
• Reduce vehicle downtime
iTrack II System Overview
iTrack II Benefits
ULTIMATE GPS
• Global PositionalSatellite System
• Improve accuracy and resolution by utilising more
of the available satellites
• 24 additional satellites available
• 1 second refresh rates on GPS data
HEAT MAPS
• Translogik staff carry out reviews of all the active haul
routes
• Routes are categorised low/medium/high demand
• Ratings based on haul length and average speed
• Live/real time recommendations are then
given to mine operation based on current
tire conditions
GEO FENCE
• User defined Geo Fence areas
• Report on events within the Geo Fence boundary i.e.
speeding in corner’s
• Report on entry and exit to a Geo Fenced boundary i.e. Tire bay, Lube bay, straights and
inclines
CUSTOMISED REPORTING
• Translogik offer a suite of reports that can be tailored
to a customers needs
• KPI focused reporting
• Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports available

Case study - Coal mine in Australia
Copper mine in Chile
This mine has increased tire life from 3,000 to 5,400 hours since the implementation of iTrack.
This equates to a saving of:$2.16 Million per annum
Thanks to the real time information we now have from the iTrack system and the control this gives us, we are able to provide a safer
environment for our workers, increasing the average tire performance by about 200 hours, reducing the average time between tire incidents
and failures, allowing us to increase the average speed of our trucks by more than 20%, which means that every hour using the tires (or iTrack
system) is more productive than before, allowing us to considerably increase production rates from the mine.
