Turtle pads

For dry sanding and polishing of marble, terrazzo, granite, concrete, etc.

A truly versatile system allowing you to renovate and polish floors and table tops of natural stone and concrete without all the mess you would get when sanding wet!

The abrasive material is diamonds embedded in a heat resistant resin. The pads are therefore “self-sharpening” and long-lasting. Velcro backside for easy mounting on grinders, poli-shing machines, satellite discs or delta sanders.

Depending on the desired end result and depending on how damaged the surface is you can choose from five different grits.

Delta sander pads are Halfmoon pads are ideal ideal for corners. for renovation of concave moldings.

Precautions

The Turtle pads are approved for use on grin-ding machine with speeds up to 11.500 RPM, but please be careful not to overheat the sur-face. Move quickly over the surface and avoid applying excessive pressure. Overheating the surface could result in discoloration.

Can be used on handheld machines as well as mounted on satellite discs – like the iTOOLS Turbo Disc.

Diamond segments are incredibly aggressive because the diamonds keep the same grit and sharpness the whole life. Unlike tungsten carbide, carborundum and sand paper, where the sanding effect rapidly deteriorates because of the rounding of the grains.

Best choice

Watch out for bolts and screws! Please remove all foreign objects from the floor before sanding. The segments can be destroyed running over metal. Hard or soft surface? Please perform a scratch test to determine if you should use segments for hard or soft concrete (or similar) or segments for epoxy or tough paint.

Have you chosen the right segments for the job? Please monitor the wear of the segments closely. For the first time after approximately half an hour. Change the segments if the wear is unusually.

Perform a scratch test to choose the right segments! This simple scratch test will help you determine the hardness of the floor so you can choose the right segments for the job.

The segments will last longer and you will be more effective when you use the right diamond segments for the job. This simple test will give you a good indication whether the floor is hard or soft, or whether the surface is epoxy or tough paint.

How to perform the test

You will need a ruler or a straight piece of metal (approx. 30 cm), a sturdy knife and new trapezoid blades. Place the ruler on the floor and make a cut with a new blade applying a good solid pressure on the knife. Use a new blade for every scratch made. Investigate the scratch thoroughly. Hard or soft concrete (or similar)

The floor is considered to be hard, if the scratch is superficial, and if there is no build up of material alongside the scratch. Use the 105530 Medium Floor segment The floor is considered to be soft, if the scratch goes deeper into the floor, and if the material builds-up alongside the scratch. Use the 105660 Soft Floor segment

Pore and Crack Filler - lithium-based For a small amount of money you can now give your floor extra strength, remove pin-holes and shrinkage cracks, and obtain an attractive homogeneous surface! The experience gained from hundreds of thousands of treated square meters is behind the development of this water-based combination product, which consists of a specially developed nano-lithium hardener to which modified polyurethane has been added as a filler. Pore and Crack Filler is a cheap alternative to other common methods: Save up to 50 % per m2! This is what you do — in brief To put it in popular language, you ”spatulate” an unbelievably attractive surface with the help of the polishing machine. Pore and Crack Filler is sprayed or rolled onto a floor polished with grain 60/80 or with SHARK grain 100, and you abrade and distribute the fine sludge consisting of Pore and Crack Filler and the abraded material. When the floor is dry, the sludge layer is polished off, and you now have an attractive, even, and strong surface! You can choose to let the floor remain untreated if no protective after treatment is necessary.

Use special pads, but depending upon the floor you can use both a satellite grinder and a rotary sander/single disc machine. This is why it works Lithium silicate has some physical and chemical properties that make it ideal for hardening the surface of cement-based floors: • The lithium silicate is smaller than other

silicates and therefore penetrates deeper down into the floor.

• Lithium reacts with the calcium hydroxide of the cement by forming strong tricalcium silicate structures that strengthen the surface and make it more durable.

Pore and Crack Filler - work instructions 1) Prepare the floor Be sure that the floor is completely hardened and the temperature is over 5° C. Sand the floor until it is smooth and level (grit 60/80 or SHARK #100). Vacuum the floor. Note: Pore and Crack Filler has been developed for floors with a hardness over 20 MPa. In the case of a hardness of <20 MPa and in the case of anhydrite and Famafloors suitability must first be tested. If the surface cracks or is damaged, Pore and Crack Filler may not be used! 2) Apply Pore and Crack Filler Apply Pore and Crack Filler in accordance with the instructions on the packaging. Apply with a microfiber roller/spray in these proportions:

Run over with SHARK #100 and the fine sludge will quickly appear. Work in sludge thoroughly. Rotation: Approx. 250-350 RPM.

Important: You must not create dry spots! Avoid grinding the sludge dry. 3) Let the floor dry. The sludge should now dry completely:

Important: The floor must be entirely dry and the sludge must have dried at the bottom. Dark spots indicate that the sludge has not yet dried.

4) Remove the layer of sludge You can remove the layer of sludge when the sludge/pore-filler has dried at the bottom and it is difficult to scratch the sludge with a knife.

The sludge is removed with WATER GLOSS #100 at a rotation speed of approximately 650 revolutions/minute. Note: It is good to grind with 20 pct. overlap. The floor is now ready for sealant, like Pro Guard Primer followed by Pro Guard Coat’n Seal. If you wish to have an epoxy, PUR, or acrylic coating, you can benefit from using an iTOOLS diamond segment with grain 70 to remove the sludge rather than pads. 5) Result Pore-free floor with satin shine!

Primer and Coat’n Seal  

Primer and highly concentrated top‐coat that deep‐seals the floor and provides lasting protection against wear and spots    Pro Guard Primer and Coat’n Seal is probably the best system on the market for sealing

floors of natural stone concrete-/cement-bound industrial floors synthetically modified industrial floors

The result is durable protection against heavy wear, industrial dirt, oil, strong cleaning products, alkali solvents, many types of acid and UV radiation. If you polish the floor after the application of each layer of Pro Guard Primer and Coat’n Seal, you can also achieve a mirror-finished surface! This is what you do — in brief Primer and Coat’n Seal are applied as spray or with a microfiber mop. Distribute thinly and evenly with a microfiber mop and polish with a HYPER GLOSS pad.

Repeat until the desired shine has been achieved. You should use a high-speed machine capable of a minimum of 1000 RPM. Specifications Primer: Water-based polymer solution on the basis of acrylic acid ester and styrol. Coat’n Seal: Water-based polymer solution on the basis of acrylic acid ester, styrol and butadiene.

Pro Guard Primer and Coat’n Seal - work instructions Steps 1-4 are the same for both Primer and Coat’n Seal. For this reason, they are both referred to simply as ”the product”. 1) Prepare the floor Finely grind/polish the floor to the desired state with WATER GLOSS and MAMBA pads. Ensure that the temperature is over 5° C. Thoroughly clean the floor so that it is free of dirt and dust. 2) Apply the product The product is applied as spray or with a microfibermop in the following proportions:

Apply the product evenly and thinly onto the floor with a microfiber mop. Important: Avoid creating white stripes and avoid thick layers (white film). 3) Let the floor dry. The product should now dry completely. Approximate time (per layer):

For floors with moderate traffic/wear it is enough to apply 1 layer of Primer and 2 layers of Coat’n Seal. If heavy traffic, 2 layers of Primer and 3-4 layers of Coat’n Seal are recommended.

If the previous layer is polished prior to application of the next layer, the shine that will ultimately be achieved is increased significantly. 4) Polishing Ensure that the product is completely dry before you polish the floor. Polish with a HYPER GLOSS pad for the best result. Use a high-speed machine capable of a minimum of 1000 revolutions/minute. 5) Use of the floor Let the products harden completed before the floor is used. Approximate time (per layer):

Want a polyurethan coating? 1: Rough sanding w. linoPAD 0 and 1 together with the Power Clean detergent, wash the floor. The use of linoPAD 0 may not be necessary. 2: Finer sanding w. linoPAD 2, wash the floor. 3: Apply 2 layers of linoPURE. Want a soap coating with a matte finish? 1 and 2: As in ”Polyurethan coating”. 3: Apply soap w. linoPAD 3. Want a soap coating with a glossy finish? 1 to 3: As in ”Soap – matte finish”. 4: Polish with linoPAD 4. You can use our hand-pad in the corners, etc. Want to remove an old polyurethan coating? linoPAD Power Clean A special detergent which dissolves soap residues and embeds the dirt into the water. This allows you to extract more dirt from the surface while keeping your pad clean. A note on machinery You will soon get finished if you use a planetary sander, where you can go up to 1.200 RPM. It also works fine with a single disc machine, where you can go up to 500 RPM. When running 150 RPM it’s recommended to add extra weight. With a hand held polishing machine you can run up to 1.000 RPM. Why are they so effective A patented sanding compound with diamonds affixed to a specially designed pad is the secret behind the efficiency of the linoPAD. Thus you get a solution that combines the flexibility and the cleaning ability of synthetic pads with the aggressive and permanent grinding ability of diamond technology.

Stirring trolley This complete stirring trolley makes it possible for you to stir and apply up to 75 kilos (3 sacks) of screed at a time in a fast and effective way. The trolley base is incredibly well-balanced, thus making it easy for you to move and apply this big load of screed.

The holder for the stirring machine is easily attached to the edge of the barrel. You can ad-just the height of the holder and the width of the locking sleeve mount in order to fit all mixers.

You can obtain a dust free stirring by attaching our hose holder to the edge of the barrel.

The 75 L barrel is produced of high quality plastic that ensures a long life time.

The turbine stirrer is designed specifically for this stirring trolley as the turbine effect and the length of 600 mm ensures that all the screed is stirred. The stirrer is produced with a M16 inte-rior thread. An adaptor with M16 exterior thread to M14 exterior thread is included.

Get a helping hand when mixing building materials A sturdy yet inexpensive holder for your small mixer or power drill which allows you to mix building materials with less effort. You can adjust the height of the holder and the width of the locking sleeve mount in order to fit all small mixers and power drills. Upright trowel for 56 cm standard inserts

Purpose

This is the multipurpose trowel for you who want to use the same upright trowel for all kind of spreads – being it screed, adhesive, epoxy etc. You easily place the insert appropriate to the job into the insert holder. The blade holder has no groove in order to make cleaning as easy as possible. The iTOOLS upright trowels are developed in close cooperation with a leading doctor in Occupational Medicine and the Flooring Academy in Viborg (DK).

Level pins

Measure, cut, and pour! Using these level pins, or grade sticks, is a very time and cost effective way of building new subfloors or levelling old uneven floors. Traditionally, the levelling of floors have been done via the laborious method of for instance drilling, plugging and screwing mounting screws into the floor – or even worse: by rule of thumb! The level pin method of levelling provides increased accuracy at a significant cost saving. Simply cut the level pin with scissors to the desired height, using the moulded millimeter rule along the pin. Stick the pin to the floor using the heavy-duty self adhesive base of the pin. Apply the concrete or screed until they are level with the top of the pin. Bingo – a level floor in record time!
