Our School Our school is Scuola Secondaria di I grado “ G. Mazzini”
It is very big and beautiful and it has four different buildings
The name of the school
The school took the name after Giuseppe Mazzini.
He lived in Italy during the Italian indipendence war in nineteen century.
He was an italian patriot , and a politician
He was the inventor of Giovine Italia and Giovine Europa.
A school day of ours...
The majority of students go to school from Monday to Friday, but some of them only go to school from Monday to Friday
School starts at 8 a.m. and finishes at 1 p.m. (at 2 p.m. for those who don’t go on Saturdays)
Students have lunch at home, since we haven’t got a school canteen
We study: Italian, English, French or Spanish, Maths, Geography, Art, P.E, R.E., I.C.T

Our School Orchestra
If you decide to play in the orchestra, you have music lessons in the afternoon, after school. You can play the drums, the piano, the cello or the french horn or be part of the school choir.
Foreign Languages
• Our school focuses on the importance of studying foreign languages so students each year have the option to go on a short stay to ENGLAND; FRANCE or SPAIN.
European projects
We strongly believe European projects are important for both students and teachers.
This is our third strategic partnership.
