What is the Adobe Enterprise Software Offer?The purpose of this offer is to provide students and educators of Northern TerritoryGovernment & Non-Government Schools affordable access to industry-leading tools forexpressing ideas and telling their own stories.

What is the School Staff FTE and how do I calculate?The total School Staff FTE is a count of all eligible staff for the entire enrolling school. This is your school’s Full Time Equivalent staff count excluding Cleaners, Janitors / Grounds persons and miscellaneous workers.

Are we entitled to product updates?Yes. Adobe will be releasing updated versions with all patches and new features, which can be packaged and deployed on your schedule.

One of the greatest feature of Adobe Creative Cloud is that you do not have to wait for a “point” release to receive product improvements or upgrades. These are made available to you as soon as they are released. Plus you have control as to if or when you would like to deploy these updates. As this is a Subscription offering, staff and students are entitled to the latest Adobe products for the duration of the contract.

Is there packaging and deployment support?Adobe engineers will work with school I.T. groups to prepare packages for deployment to both windows (SCCM) & Mac environments including KBA’s.

Will there be a Work at Home offering?Yes. A work at home agreement will be part of the contract allowing staff, for a nominal fee, to access and install the Adobe software suite to their personally owned device.

On which devices can I install the Software?

• CC Complete can be deployed to any school owned computer capable of running the applications (including those loaned to staff or students on a take home basis).

• CC Standard can be deployed to any student owned computer capable of running the applications.

• CC Complete can be deployed to any student owned computer capable of running the applications for an additional fee ($20 per student per year).

Are the Products based “in the Cloud”?It is worth noting that whilst the software is called “Creative Cloud”, this does not mean that it is hosted or based in the cloud. Full installations will be to the local device similar to previous versions of the Adobe Creative Suite applications.

Design & Image Editing ToolsPhotoshop CC is the professional level tool for digital imagery that prepares students for the workplace allowing them to communicate effectively though the manipulation of images. Photoshop provides image creation and manipulation tools for output to web, video and 3D.

Illustrator CC is a drawing tool that provides students with an electronic equivalent of a calligraphic brush, pen and ink and ruler and pencil. Illustrator is used in the creation of a wide range of illustrative styles – including perspective drafting, graphic design, and cartoon and sketching.

InDesign CC allows students and teachers to create professional layouts for assignments, school newsletters, and year-books for print or electronic publication, skills which are increasingly demanded in the digital work place.

Photoshop LightRoom CC allows students and teachers to edit and enhance photographs, manage photo collections and publish images to a variety of formats

Acrobat Pro DC enables teachers to publish and distribute consistent curriculum content to students. It allows schools to create, distribute and collate information through electronic forms, moving away from traditional paper based processes and time consuming data entry.

Photoshop Elements is an entry level tool for introducing students to visual communication through enhancing, designing and editing photographs to understand the important role that imagery plays in digital communication.

Web & Interactive ToolsDreamweaver CC allows students to create manage and publish websites and mobile apps. It encourages strategic planning and problem solving when evaluating required viewer engagement and implementation of open source technologies and frameworks.

Adobe Muse CC is a visual web design tool. Students can create and publish beautiful web and mobile sites without the need to know or write any code. As such it can appeal to more students who can learn to be creative without being technical at all.

Animate CC (formerly Flash Professional CC) allows students to gain an understanding of, and appropriate use cases for 2D animation and interaction. Content created can be exported to Adobe Flash for desktop as well as HTML5 for the web and mobile as well as producing native apps for iOS and Android devices.

Fireworks CS61 allows students to rapidly prototype websites and applications, and optimize web graphics

Flash Builder Premium Edition1 allows students and teachers to build exceptional applications for iOS, Android, and Browsers using a single codebase

Edge Animate CC1 is a web animation tool. Students can learn various animation techniques and create interactive web content without the need to know or write complex codes. As such it can appeal to more students who can learn to be creative without being too technical.

Video & Audio ToolsPremiere Pro CC is a professional industry-leading video editing tool. Students can learn industry skills when it comes to making movies or digital stories. From script/story writing using through to final output of the video using Premiere Pro, students can learn the entire production workflow of a typical movie studio.

After Effects CC extends student creativity with cinematic visual effects and motion graphics that can be added to their movies or digital stories.

Audition CC enables students to Create, edit, and enhance audio for broadcast, video, and film.

Media Encoder CC allows students and teachers to Automate the process of encoding video and audio to virtually any video or device format.

Encore CS61 enables students and teachers to author DVDs, Blu-ray discs, and web DVDs.

ElearningCaptivate is an easy to use software for creating engaging learning content without the need for complex programming. With minimal training, teachers can build web-based interactive learning materials that can track student progress.
