Navigation issues and observations

I like to be able to do several

things at the same time while

cooking. Sometimes I clean

the tools while cooking or

have to give food to the child.

Everything that allows me to

have more freedom while

cooking is welcome.

Navigation issues and observations

Since we have kids we

measure our food more. You

have to be more precise with

quantities and portions, you

plan more.

Page 14: Issue cards

Navigation issues and observations

People are more aware

about coffee cups or yoghurt

cups than milliliters or grams.

Therefore using common

known sizes becomes easier

Navigation issues and observations

When I shop with internet the

shopping basket is less

compulsive. When I go to the

supermarket it becomes much

more improvised. I usually use

internet to buy the basic

basket. It is very practical.

Confidence issues and observations

Mostly I only have little time to

do the cooking and then I'm

often so much under pressure

that the result is not what I

intended it to be.

Page 17: Issue cards

Confidence issues and observations

I have a repertoire of 15-20

dishes in order to save time

that I cook normally. I often

don’t have time to plan or think

too much.

Confidence issues and observations

Most of the cooking recipes

that I learned I got them from

my mum. She even convinced

me to buy the

thermomix…Cultural

background and childhood

recipes play a big role in own

cooking, although they can be

slightly adapted

Page 19: Issue cards

Confidence issues and observations

The more I try some of the

recipes the more I can

improvise. My mum is now

able to cook without the

looking at the book and she

has her own recipes. I am still

following some recipes but I'm

starting to cook my own things

(thermomix recipe book)

Other issues and observations

Most of the products that are

never used have a single

function and are not very

flexible. They also generate

big quantities and can’t be

used in smaller portions.

Page 21: Issue cards

Other issues and observations

When travelling specially with

kids I need to plan what to

cook for them. Sometimes we

bring the ‘baby cook’ with us. It

is very easy to cook vegetable

purées with it.

Page 22: Issue cards

Other issues and observations

I always run out of space in

my kitchen. Then I have to do

in between washing up in

order to have more space.

Appliances also always take

space.
