This evening was a chance to recognise and celebrate the hard work and dedication of both past and present students. Our college operates on four important values, these being Aspiration, Courage, Growth and Respect. These are values that we expect everyone in our community to uphold, and all our awards recipients demonstrated these values to a high degree. A highlight of the evening was the fantastic keynote speech from accomplished performer and tutor, Naarah Barnes. Naarah spoke about the support and guidance she received from staff at Claremont College throughout Years 11 and 12. She also spoke passionately about finding the right pathway, and how important it is to continually work hard and chase your dreams. Other highlights were the musical performances from the Claremont College Wonderband and Van Diemen’s Band, featuring past and present Claremont College students. This showcased the excellent skills our Performing Arts department are consistently developing in our students. It was an exciting opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate the achievements of our hard- working students. It was also important to recognise the dedication of our amazing staff, who work tirelessly every day to support the learning and growth of our students. We congratulate all award recipients. They will always be a part of the Claremont College community and we wish them the best for an exciting future. Andrew Hughes Principal TERM 2 REPORTS. Parent Teacher discussions will be held at Claremont College on the afternoon of 25 May from 3.30pm-7.00pm. On Tuesday 30 March, our College community gathered
in the Guilford Young Theatre for the annual Claremont
College Awards Evening. This evening was a chance to
recognise and celebrate the hard work and dedication of
both past and present students.
Our college operates on four important values, these
being Aspiration, Courage, Growth and Respect. These
are values that we expect everyone in our community to
uphold, and all our awards recipients demonstrated these
values to a high degree.
A highlight of the evening was the fantastic keynote
speech from accomplished performer and tutor, Naarah
Barnes. Naarah spoke about the support and guidance she
received from staff at Claremont College throughout
Years 11 and 12. She also spoke passionately about finding
the right pathway, and how important it is to continually
work hard and chase your dreams.
Other highlights were the musical performances from the
Claremont College Wonderband and Van Diemen’s Band,
featuring past and present Claremont College students.
This showcased the excellent skills our Performing Arts
department are consistently developing in our students.
It was an exciting opportunity for our community to come
together and celebrate the achievements of our hard-
working students. It was also important to recognise the
dedication of our amazing staff, who work tirelessly every
day to support the learning and growth of our students.
We congratulate all award recipients. They
will always be a part of the Claremont
College community and we wish them the
best for an exciting future.
