Feb Grandparents Day 5

Dear Families and Friends of SJES,

It has been such a blessing to be part of the SJES family and has been one of the most rewarding and memorable times in my career. The opportunity to be a part of this community whose unwavering focus is dedicated to the development and education of our children has been a gift and grace to me.

The time has come for me to take the next step in my journey at the end of this school year and re-enter retirement with my husband in beautiful northern California at the base of Mount Shasta. They say that “all journeys have secret destinations of which the traveler is unaware.” SJES has turned out to be my secret destination.

Father George in conjunction with the school department will begin the process of selecting a new principal who will carry on the traditions of this incredible school.

Again, I thank each and every one of you for the support and encouragement you have given me from the first day I came. I am better for having known you, “Some people come into our lives

and quickly go. Some stay for a while, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never ever the same. [Flavia Weedn]. I will hold you in prayer as your journey continues.

In peace,

Marilyn Marchi
