A visual artist, Ben Ari presents her work, often focused on the female body, in many formats, including video, sculpture, and installations.
GIL KERER
HOST INSTITUTION: OBERLIN COLLEGETERM: January 28 – May 10, 2019
Kerer is an independent dancer, performer, and choreographer based in Tel Aviv who, in 2011, won the first prize in the Israeli Curtain Up Festival.
TAISEER ELIAS
HOST INSTITUTION: UC BERKELEYTERM: September 24 – October 10, 2018
Elias is an internationally celebrated oud player, violinist, and composer, and is regarded as the leading figure in classical Arab music in Israel.
YAEL RASOOLY
HOST INSTITUTION: TRINITY COLLEGE, HARTFORDTERM: January 15 – May 15, 2019
Rasooly’s theatrical language is based on a multidisciplinary approach, combining different forms of theatre, puppetry, visual art, and music.
AVIYA KOPELMAN
HOST INSTITUTION: UC BERKELEYTERM: March 11 – May 12, 2019
Kopelman is a composer and pianist, and is one of the youngest-ever recipients of the Israeli Prime Minister’s Prize for Composition (2007).

Israel’s Young Choreographer Prize winner in 2009 and 2014, Noa Shadur’s work has been presented in festivals in Israel and internationally.
RONIT WEISS-BERKOWITZ
HOST INSTITUTION: SAN DIEGO STATE UNIVERSITYTERM: January 15 – May 9, 2019
Weiss-Berkowitz is a professor at Tel Aviv University’s Film Department, having served formerly as the head writer or writer for various television drama series.
RONEN SHARABANI
HOST INSTITUTION: UC LOS ANGELESTERM: March 27 – June 14, 2019
Sharabani’s animated works are projected onto architecture using a blend of movement, performance, video, and light, with a musical overlay.
