Benjamin A. Loomis The founder and President of Amble Resorts, Benjamin Loomis has two decades of experience in the architecture, construction, and real estate industries. Mr. Loomis graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Masters of Science in Real Estate Development and a Masters of Science in Architectural Studies. Immediately prior to starting Amble Resorts, he worked with InterCapital Partners, LLC, where he managed the development of over $200 million of residential and mixed-use projects spread over multiple geographic markets and product types. Prior to that, he worked as an architect in Chicago for Tigerman McCurry Architects and other fi rms, as well as in construction in his home state of Alabama.

Horst Schulze The Chairman and CEO of The West Paces Hotel Group, Horst Schulze is a legend and a leader in the service world. After joining The Ritz-Carlton Company as a charter member and VP of Operations in 1983, Mr. Schulze was instrumental in creating their operating and service standards that have become world famous. He was appointed EVP in 1987, President and COO in 1988, and then served as Vice Chairman from 2001-2002, ultimately becoming responsible for the $2 billion Ritz-Carlton operations worldwide. On the MainlandVisit a Ngobe-Bugle VillageThe Ngobe-Bugle is Panama’s largest indigenous group. An artistic and colorful people, they still live and farm the way they did hundreds of years ago.

Mountain Coffee Plantation TourHigh in the cloud forests near the village of Boquete are coffee plantations producing several varieties of rich and coveted beans. Take a tour to see the red berries ripen and experience exotic samples with undertones of jasmine or chocolate.
