She enjoys the theatre life and wants to continue to act on stage and be challenged with playing different roles. Now a permanent resident in New York, she feels there is no better place to be to continue pursuing her acting goals than in New York City.

The two years she spent training and studying acting and theatre from the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute were some of the best years in her life.

Ishitta Joy recently became a naturalized United States citizen. This was one of her proudest and most exciting moments of her life. Becoming a United States citizen is a thorough process that includes classes, an extensive background check and vigorous interview where potential citizens answer certain questions regarding the United States government.
