Welcome Message
We are pleased to announce that the "ISHI APHIA CON 2021", a joint meeting of the Indian Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ISHI) and Asia-Pacic Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics Association (APHIA) will be held Virtually from November 17 to 20, 2021.
In view of the huge time difference between APHIA member states, it has been decided to commence the activity at 8AM India standard time each day which corresponds to10.30AM for Singapore and Perth and 1.30PM for Melbourne. The organizing committee will request the speakers for their pre-recorded lectures so that participants from Gold Coast, New Zealand and other areas could listen to these at their convenience.
A galaxy of well-known international names including those from within India will address the conference. This will be a great opportunity for young researchers, immunologists, geneticists, transplant physicians and surgeons, pathologists and technologists to expose themselves to the fundamentals of the HLA system including its clinical role so as to maximize interest, knowledge retention and skill development.

Dear All,
Warm wishes and sincere regards,
The main theme of the conference is "MHC, Transplantation and Beyond". A one-day Technology Workshop and APHIA Quality Assurance Program will precede the three-day joint meeting which will take place from Nov 18 to 20. Participants from the Asia-Pacic region, neighboring countries around India, the gulf region and those from various states of India will attend the conference. We expect close to 200 attendees representing all major HLA and transplant centers in the region.
