schools.
17.) Is a server needed for snack by site? No
18.) The RFP sounds as if the SFA will be running POS for meal service – please confirm that this is
not the FSMC’s responsibility.
The SFA will be running the POS for meal service. We currently utilized PowerLunch. The FSMC
will not be responsible for POS service.
19.) RFP page 5 says that “FSMC to accommodate special diets where medically necessary. However, if you cross reference with RFP page 45 -- it says that the SFA is responsible for developing meals for students with disabilities and who cannot eat regular lunch. What kind of special diets? We definitely need clarification on this so the team can align on what products/services we are willing to provide (if any).
We need the FSMC to provide vegetarian options as well as therapeutic options, depending on student needs. This can consist of diets to accommodate peanut allergies, gluten free diets, lactose free, etc.
20.) RFP page 52 says 6 schools and 6 other sites for a total of 12, but page 62 says there are
multiple serving locations per site. What does this mean? Please see spreadsheet attachment that indicates number of serving locations.
