The vatnajökull Glacier Trophy is the new flagship of our 4x4 Self-Drive tours. In fact it is more an expedition than a normal tour, as you will cross europe’s largest glacier behind the steering wheel of an ISAK Super De-fender. Only experienced 4x4 drivers need apply, as anything can happen on this extreme tour, where an expert glacier driving guide will steer you around the cracks that can form on top of the ever changing glacier sur-face. At night you will stay in a hut upon the glacier itself, which prides itself of a SAUNA right there on the ice cap, thanks to the volcanic activity underneath the glacier.
