♦ Virginia Beach Television (VBTV) Program Schedule | Sept. 12 through Sept. 18, 2021.
• Starting as early as 10 p.m. tonight, Sept. 10, VDOT will implement a consecutive, single-lane closure
on I-264 east from the Greenwich Road flyover bridge to Witchduck Road (exit 15), which will be in
place until approximately Sept. 24. This will allow crews to safely work alongside the interstate to
widen I-264 with the extension of the existing collector-distributor lanes from Newtown Road (exit
15) to Witchduck Road (exit 16). Closing one lane of I-264 east in this location leaves four lanes open
to traffic. This work is weather-dependent, and the schedule is subject to change.
• Beginning as early as 8 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 17, a portion of Fremac Drive off Laskin Road will be
closed for approximately one week while crews perform utility work. A signed detour will be in place,
directing motorists to utilize Reynard Drive and Winwood Drive to access Laskin Road. Linkhorn
Circle will remain open at all times. This utility work is not expected to directly affect through traffic
on Laskin Road. All work is weather permitting and subject to change.
