Questions we had

• Is it made of cells?• Does it react to its environment?• Does it reproduce?• Does it grow?• Does it release Carbon Dioxide?

How did we answer the questions?• Attempted to look for cells under microscope• Created different environments:• Freshwater (Animals• Saltwater (Animals)• Soil (Plants, Fungus)

• We couldn’t confirm any reproduction• Observed it in its environments• We used bromothymol blue to test for CO2

Carbon Dioxide Results• We found out that it releases CO2

Results- Saltwater• The substance had no change in saltwater

Conclusion• Alive• Because we noticed growth only in freshwater• Gave off CO2 which is a sign of chemical energy
