Dropping Out is Not a Single Event The key indicators that researchers have identified as indicative of which students are most likely to drop out
are:
Academic Course Failure
Behavior Problems That Lead To Suspensions and Expulsions
Failure to be Promoted to the Next Grade Level
Inadequate Academic, Identification, or Special Educational Services
Excessive Absenteeism
Our goal is to develop interventions to target the needs of students who display early warnings signs,
and to point those students in a new direction.

As an alternative to staying home, students can participate in behavior modification, classes and community service requirements during suspension. We provide individualized online and classroom-based programs to keep students on track towards graduation while being suspended, expelled, or reassigned to another school. This keeps students from falling farther behind, and reduces the risk of dropping out of school.
