March 14 is the start of Daylight Saving Time, which begins at 2:00 A.M. Don’t forget to “spring forward” or you may find yourself an hour late to everything! The Start of Spring, on this day, the Sun rises exactly in the east and sets exactly in the west—a good thing to know if you get lost in the woods or at the beach if you live at Sea Bluffs. According to folklore, wear a sprig of rosemary in your hair to improve your memory! I hope you find yourself smiling at the fact that sunshine is just around the corner so get that pedicure booked ASAP, the sun is on its way! We have an exciting line up of activities and events in the March calendar. Irish Blessing Let it go..... Wind down before bedtime and have a peaceful sleep. Meditation is a great way for you to release negative thoughts before sleep and YOGA is great to help relieve tension. Try a Fusion class which is known to help you go to bed with a clear mind as you are guided through a process of detachment of negativity. This mindful exercise will help ease you into a restful and relaxing sleep whilst instilling passivity at the same time. Indulge your body & soul in this relaxing yoga and meditation session. This all- sensory experience is done while seated. enthusiasts report reduced stress, decreased pain, increased range of motion, improved posture, and an increased feeling of overall well-being. First we all waited for the results and Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow in 2021, which means we are in for six more weeks of winter. We all watched the Super Bowl LV ( 55 ) game and ate nachos and pretzels while watching the big game. Chinese New Year was celebrated with a themed dinner menu of great food and fortune cookies. Valentines Day was all about being with our friends and connecting with the ones we love so dearly. Two days later was Mardi Gras aka "Fat Tuesday" and our dining staff pulled out all the stops and we had a themed dinner to celebrate. Wednesday was Ash Wednesday and Fr. Phillip from St. Edwards church distributed ashes for anyone who wanted them. March is on the way and we can't wait for spring! Thriving
