The Network “Integraon through Qualificaon (IQ)” comprises approximately 380 different subprojects, which aim to integrate people with a migraon background into the labour market. The parcipants, methods and strategies involved in these subprojects are highly diverse. The format “IQ Good Pracce” highlights outstanding approaches so they can be made available for transfer. Good Pracce examples are intended for all stakeholders within the Network IQ, such as the regional networks and competence centres, as well as for stakeholders outside the Network IQ, such as employment administraon, public administraon, educaon providers, companies and enterprises, as well as for labour market and integraon policy makers. What is IQ Good Pracce? transferable: The Good Pracce example can serve as a model for new projects and is as flexible as possible in respect to other framework condions. For example, it is not dependant on regional or other peculiaries and can be easily trans- ferred to statutory instuons without any addional effort. innovave: The Good Pracce example responds to a current challenge with a new and creave idea. sustainable: The Good Pracce example is sustain- able in terms of its structure (long- term, connuous) and its effects. efficient: 1. With regard to the “establishment” of the Good Pracce example: The ex- penses (personnel, me, costs, etc.) are proporonate to the successes. 2. With regard to the effort required to transfer the Good Pracce example: The praccal applicaon of the tool saves me and money. GOOD PRACTICE Good examples from practical experience Good Pracce approach within Network IQ: Good Pracce examples are easily rec- ognisable beacon projects, in which a need for acon is idenfied and matched with praccal soluons. Good Pracce examples are tried and tested products, tools, concepts, mea- sures and event formats. They are ex- pected to have relevant experience in the implementaon with proven prac- cal success. Good Pracce examples should demon- strate that they are transferable, innova- ve, sustainable, and efficient. In parcular, Good Pracce examples are transferable to statutory instuons, such as employment agencies and job centres, and provide support for their work. Selecon process: The fulfilment of the criteria transferable, innovave, sustainable and efficient (see box) is especially important for the selecon as a Good Pracce example. The selecon from the submied proposals is made by a specially formed advisory board. In addion to the German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS) and the IQ Dissem- inaon Project (IQ DP/ebb), representaves of the regional networks and the compe- tence centres are also involved in the assess- ment and decision-making processes. In the sense of praccality, a technically sound and comprehensible decision is made there.
