Child Development Center Enrolling now for Fall 2012! Ages: 3-5Our Y Preschool and its warm, caring and trained staff are an extensionof home. Our Creative Curriculum offers children the opportunity togrow in spirit, mind and body while developing a strong sense of self.Our educational setting exposes children to early math, science, literacy,social studies, the arts and technology in preparation for Kindergarten.In addition, children participate in Y physical activities such asswimming, sports clinics, gymnastics and more. Registration packets andtuition fees are available online at www.northshoreymca.org

After the BellEnrolling now for Fall 2012! Ages: Grades K-5Our Y School Age Program is a home away from home. The comforts of home include our plush book corner to read and relax after a long day at school, a Wii Station for baseball, bowling and dancing and computer time for both games and homework. Each day children have the opportunity to explore art and crafts projects and small group team challenge games as well as choose games and projects to be added to the days’ schedule. On Thursdays, children participate in FREE swim lessons and twice a week children join FREE sports clinics that include basketball, football, soccer, tennis and gymnastics.

Bus Transportation to the Ipswich YMCA for the after school program is provided from the Winthrop/Doyon schools in Ipswich and the Essex Elementary School. Parents have the option to choose a schedule that best meets their needs from the options listed below. A 2-day minimum is required.

It uses advanced teaching techniques to break down tennis skills to progressively become a better player. Modified court, tennis balls, and racquet sizes make it easier for kids to learn. Jr. lifeguarding Ages: 11-15Fee: Members $68 Community $98Learn what it takes to become a lifeguard. Rescue strokes, rescue equipment and basic rescues will be introduced. Participants must be able to swim 200 yards.Thurs 4:45pm

Babysitting Water Safety Course Ages: 11 and upFee: Members $68 Community $98Babysitting during the summer includes watching children near the water, an area with potential safety hazards. This class will prepare you with backyard pool, boating and beach safety for children. Identify dangers, enforce basic water safety rules and help prevent accidents. Starts April 30th and runs for eight weeks.Mon 4:15pm

Boating SafetyAges: 12 and upFee: $85 Become boat certified and get out on the water. This beginner boating class covers Boating Law, Safety Equipment, Navigation and how to handle common Boating Problems. At the end of the course you will take the Coast Guard boating test as well as the MA boating test allowing you to pilot a craft on the water. Please bring food to eat during the lunch break.Sat, April 28th 9:00am-6:00pm

Kinderswim- Essex Schools The Y bus picks children up at Essex Elementary and brings them over for swim lessons. Parents meet your child on the pool deck after swim lessons for pick up. Registration is done on a monthly basis with registration forms sent home in backpacks.Wed 1:00pm

Specialty lessons Ages: 3 and up (Member Only) Private: $32/half hour, $110/package of 4 Semi-Privates: $18/half hour, $70/package of 4 Group: $12/45min lessonWork with a qualified instructor or book a group lesson with your friends.
