IPESA: What’s NewStudent Absences for Religious Holy days ◦Teachers should make reasonable attempts to avoid scheduling assessments on religious holy days

◦Students must inform teachers of planned absences for religious holy days in writing during the first week of classes

◦ Students who fail 2 or more courses (or the same course twice) and are in good academic standing are contacted by the College and remedial measures are recommended
