2013 Award Recipients
AwardsThe awards ceremony is an evening celebration recognizing the design innovation and excellence in British Columbia’s steel construction industry. The CISC BC Region Steel Design Awards of Excellence will take place May 28, 2015 at The Fairmont Waterfront Hotel. All participants in the Steel Design Awards competition will be invited to attend.
At the Reception, the Owner, Architect, Structural Engineer, General Contractor, CISC BC Steel Fabricator, Steel Detailer and Steel Erector will each be presented with a memento commemorating the Award.
Eligibility ; All project entries must be fabricated or detailed by a CISC BC Region Fabricator or Detailer Member and completed between January 1, 2013 and December 31, 2014.
; Projects must illustrate ingenuity and innovation in the use of structural steel or platework.
; Only one project will be selected from each category for an award (judges may cite one or two projects for Honourable Mention).
; Project entries outside BC will be accepted.
