Appendix A
The following table shows the current land lease rate in Batam, Rempang, and Galang. Land lease is usually given
for a period of 30 years, and extendable up to 80 years. However, payment could be done in installments with a
minimum of 5 year payment. Other payment option is for 10 years and 30 years. Direct payment for 50 or 80
years of lease is also allowed. Rates vary according to land use and location of the land.
