Gawler Craton as a resurging exploration frontier
South Australia’s ’s early promise as a mining state and its prospective geology was beaten by cover.
After Olympic Dam discovery (ahead of its time), discoveries stagnated until new technologies like calcrete geochemistry & gravity restarted discoveries through 1990’s & 2000’s.
Opportunity is available to take exploration to next level of difficulty.
Strong competition for tenure means advantages are needed to decide where and how to look for the next generation of new mineral deposits.
IVR is grasping that opportunity as shown by the Paris silver discovery.

IVR’s Advantages
• Focussing expertise on southern Gawler Craton where thin cover provides opportunities for new breakthrough discoveries
• Leading industry with new targeting model (Moonta Corridor)
• Dominant ground position
• Proprietary dataset of innovative
regional soil geochemistry enabled new targets to be defined on Eyre Peninsula
