Our source was a video about a woman called LOWITJA O’DONOGHUEIt talked about how Lowitja was taken from her mother and had outside the shops years later. The message is that Aboriginals were treated terribly and taken from their parents when they were little.

We believe that this picture shows small children that are finding homes and have made their way into the newspaper. But we think that the people reading this newspaper article didn’t really care and ignored them.

We think this means we should all be equal and all be kind towards one another. Aboriginal rights are important and we all should vote for Aboriginal right and women can achieve the ability to do anything they want to do.

In 1968 Aborigines were fighting for their land back and were struggling to get a fair say. This source says that Australians did not respect Aborigines at all and today hopefully they look back and regret it. At that time Aborigines were disgusted with how Australia invaded their land and tried and tried to get it back.

We think this video explains that there was a lie that the land was unoccupied but the truth is, the Aborigines owned the land.
The underlining message in this source is to respect others and what they own.

Donna Meehan
It says that donna Meehan had a hard childhood. She felt white people looked down on her because she was an Aboriginal. She felt she didn’t belong with the white people. She loved her foster parents but she still felt like a fish out of water.
