    "% %* v1 determines whether pac>ets are out o order )ased on *. $hen "% pac>ets are out o order on the transmission

    networ>, an * rame arrives at the receiver earlier than service pac>ets in the measurement period. As a result, some

    pac>ets are not measured or more pac>ets are measured.

    "% %* v2 uses the coloring D window detection solution. The time when an * rame is received is not used as the time

    when pac>et measurement ends.

    The preceding igure shows the principles o the solution! The sender divides "% pac>ets into two types 8the * rame isused to delimit the "% pac>ets9 and color the two types o pac>ets! all pac>ets in the previous rame are in Cyc A and all

    pac>ets in the later rame are in Cyc +. The characteristics o the two rames rotate. The receiver measures data )ased on

    "% path "' and Cyc "'. "n Cyc A, the receiver only measures the data that meets the condition o "% path "' and Cyc A@ in

    Cyc +, the receiver only measures the data that meet the condition o "% path "' and Cyc +. "n the overlap area o the two

    'etection upon activation o "% %*! Activation o orward "% %*! 'uring "% %* negotiation, the receiver carries ';C% inormation in an ACT rame and compares

    it with the ';C% in the "% pac>et header to chec> whether ';C% remar>ing occurs. Ater detecting ';C% remar>ing, the "%

    %* receiver reects "% %* activation and reports the ';C% change in an ACT=ACF message. The initiator generates an "%

    %* activation ailure alarm with the alarm cause o ';C% change. $hen the &7C )ac>ward activates "% %* in the uplin> o the 7ode+, the ACT message and the * rame are sent in

    dierent directions.

    The ';C% value deined in the "% path is used as the ';C% value o the ACT=ACF rame, that is, the ';C% value that is the

    same as that o the * rame is used. Ater receiving the ACT=ACF message, the &7C determines whether ';C% remar>ing

    occurs. " ';C% remar>ing occurs, the &7C generates an alarm and deactivates "% %* on the 7ode+.

    ';C% remar>ing detection during measurement!

    'uring "% %* measurement, the * receiver can chec> whether the ';C% is changed in real time )y comparing the ';C% value

    deined in the "% path with the ';C% value in the "% header o the * rame.

    The detection result is included in a +& rame and transerred to the sender. " the sender inds that the ';C% value is changed

    in three consecutive +& rames, the sender generates an "% %* measurement threshold crossing alarm with the alarm cause o

    ';C% remar>ing. " the ';C% value is restored in three consecutive +& rames, the sender clears the alarm.
