2. Definition of Production Management
Production Management deals with decision making related to
Production Process so that the resulting goals or services are
produced according to specification in amount and by the schedule
demand at minimum cost.
Production Management is concerned with those process, which
Convert INPUT into OUTPUT.
It is a process of effective planning and regulating the operations
of that section of enterprise, which is responsible for the actual
TRANSFORMATION of MATERIALS into FINISHED PRODUCTS.
