The Introduction to Mindful Living workshop is designed to introduce you to the practice of mindful meditation through practice and discussion. This program is ofered by the Sanford Center for Aging, University of Nevada, Reno. It will be held for 2 hours once a week for six consecutive weeks. Some topics and skills covered in the workshop include: Mindful breathing Mindfulness of the body, emotions and thoughts Mindful eating Ability to be present with each moment of your life Cultivate attitudes of patience, trust, acceptance, openness, non-judgement Strengthen concentration Class size is limited and registration is required. The Introduction to Mindful Living workshop is designed to introduce you to the practice of mindful meditation through practice and discussion.
