_Shiite ( 10% of Muslims)

-Thought leader must be chosen from Muhammad`s family

-Leader should be any devout Muslim that the Muslims would accept.

2 groups fought each other: Sunni won and began the 1st Muslim Empire.

1. Islam is an evil Religion.

The concept of Jihad has been hijacked by many political and religious groups over the ages.

Page 18: Introduction to islam

_Jihad means “struggle” not “holy war”. It is a central and broad Islamic concept that includes struggle against evil within oneself, struggle to improve the quality of life in society, for self-defense or fighting against tyranny or oppression. If there is no peaceful alternative, Islam allows the use of force, but there are strict rules of engagement. Innocents-such as woman, children, or invalids-must never be harmed, and any peaceful overtures from the enemy must be accepted!

“ Whosoever killed a person-unless it be for killing a person or for creating disorder in the land- it shall be as if he killed all mankind: and whoso gave life to one, it shall be as if he had given life to all mankind.” ( Holy Quran)

“,,, and kill not yourselves. Surely Allah is Merciful to you. And who does that by way of transgression and injustice, we shall cast him into Fire; and that easy with Allah.” ( Holy Quran)

Suicide is unconditionally forbidden. When it is used as a mechanism to murder others( suicide bombing) then it becomes an even greater sin!

In Europe until the 19th century, women did not have the right to own their own property, but that right was clearly established in Islamic religion centuries ago.

Why is Islam against “ Gay marriages” ???

Page 37: Introduction to islam

Page 39: Introduction to islam

_They say that the Islamic prophet was “ pedophile”. He married to Aisha when she was 6 years old.

Page 40: Introduction to islam

The Isaba, speaking of the Prophet’s daughter Fatima, says that she was born 5 years before the Call and was about 5 years older than Aisha. This shows that Aisha must have been about 10 years at the time of her engagement, not marriage. And there is one report in the Tabaqat that Aisha was 9 years old at the time of engagment. Again it is a fact admitted on all hands that the nikah of Aisha took place in the 10th year of the Call in the month of Shawwal, while there is also evidence as to the consummation of her marriage taking place in the 2nd year of Hijra in the same month, which shows that full 5 years had elapsed between the nikah( engagement) and the marriage. Hence there is not the least doubt that Aisha was at least 9 or 10 years of age at the time of engagement, and 14 or 15 years at the time of marriage.

Page 41: Introduction to islam

In the 10th year of the Call ,, the 10 year after the Holy Prophet Muhammad received his calling from God to his mission of prophethood, that his wife Khadija passed away, and the approach was made to Abu Bakr for the hand of his daughter Aisha. The Hijra or emigration of the Holy Prophet to Madina took place 3 years later, and Aisha came to the household of the Holy Prophet 2 years after Hijra. So if Aisha was born in the year of the Call, she would be 10 years old at the time of the nikah and 15 years old at the time of the consummation of the marriage. And women at that time were getting married at that age, the conditions are not the same.
