Our communication devices have comprehensive test reports and certifications according to the current international ReD standard and other directives.

Partners and Customers The customized product line responds to unique and specific needs of our partners, thus our client base is focused, as the key customer segments are represented by the large international electricity meter producers, the electricity companies and mobile operators.

Due to the accumulated experiences in the modem production, the WM Systems established a close relationship with electricity distributors in Europe and in the GCC countries.

Beyond the direct sales activities, WM Systems participates in complex international tenders with international system integrators, as development and production partner.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

The legal company is located in Hungary, Budapest. Owners are Mr. Bela Kormos (CEO), Mr. Peter Tárnok (CFO). Total FTE is 27 (mainly developers and sales).

Our certificationsWe’ve introduced the ISO 9001:2015 quality control standard ”for design and development of mobile data transmission devices, distribution, servicing of information technological equipments”.

We have prepared for the implementation of IT security management system (ISO/IEC 27001).

We have obtained the international FIRA Platform certification of sustainability.

SMART CITY concept for Smart data collectionWe produce mobile communication modems, data concentrators as a part of smart metering to collect the consumption data of electricity, water, gas and heating for utilities.

Smart Metering We are OEM partner of Honeywell®. Our modems are compatible with the Landys+Gyr®, Itron® and other vendor’s meters.

We sold more than 120.000 modems to different type of meters. These meets withconnectivity, outfit and enclosure design as it is harmonizing with the requirements of the utility companies and service providers.

Our NB IoT devices sending the water/gas pulses directly to the central application. The universal water metering solution receives, counts the pulse signals of the connected meters (on serial, MBus or wireless MBus link), transmits consumption on the NB-IoT & LTE celular network. Equipped with long term battery, which provides power source for more than 10 years.

Public street lightingOur Public Street Lighting solution is enabling to the change of the old lighting systems for a new IoT based management and control platform by reducing the operational and maintenance cost.

We sold more than 20.000 IoT devices - routers,modems - with central management platformto control arount the900.000 street lamps in Netherland.

Challanges in network management

Smarter distribution grids will be needed to integrate increasing amounts of decentralized generation, electric vehicles and heat pumps into the network and it will require additional investment in new infrastructure including the communication.

We have developed specialdata collection LTE mobile routers to satisfy the new expectations of “smart grid” in substation control and load management (IEC 60870-5-104 SCADA platform).
