Being able to pitch yourself or your business is one of the most important skills that you can learn.

Your pitch is a sales document, you are either selling yourself or your business.

Keys to all pitches:

Who is your audience - This will affect the content of your pitch and the time you have.

Always use numbers – Adding numbers to your pitch instantly makes it more credible.

Use evidence to support your claim – similar to numbers this also includes stories, experiences, and testimonials… Evidence helps to add credibility to your pitch.

Keys to all pitches continued:

Change people’s pulse – Your pitch must be engaging and memorable if you want people to buy in.

Practice your presentations skills & articulation – An amazing pitch does not achieve much if you cannot speak coherently or confidently. It is not enough to write your pitch, you must practice/rehears your pitch. Don’t learn this lesson the hard way.
