year over that period.

She loves selling real estate but wanted to build a

passive ongoing income in addition to her personal

‘I want to look at my income potential at Nextage Realty versus what it might be somewhere else,’ Carol thought.

‘First, let’s assume all of my transactions have a $200,000 sale price with a 6% total real estate commission.* That’s about average for me.

Let’s also assume that I’m going to continue to close about 1 ½ transaction sides per month.’

I suppose I could work for a traditional broker on an 80% split.

Closing 1 ½ slides per month would mean I’d make about $7,200 a month assuming there are no fees or deductions from the gross commission.

Or I could join Nextage Realty. Assuming I qualified for 80%, the same 1 ½ closed sides would produce a net commission of $6,432.

If I was able to get just three of my associates to join me at Nextage Realty . . . And let’s assume they’re averaging just ¾ of a closed side a month, their production would generate an additional $904 in Monthly Sales Bonuses.

Now, If I helped each of those three agents bring in three more of their own, averaging, say, 2/3 of a closed side per month, that would create an additional $1,212 in Sales Bonuses.

If each of that last group of agents were to bring in just 2 more agents of their own, averaging just 6 closed sides a year, that would add another $1,085 in Sales Bonuses.

I think I’ll just consider the next three Generations to be ‘Gravy.’ But with just this little bit of team building, I could make 33% more at Nextage Realty than at Brand X.
