Conceptual: Shades the objects and smooths the edges between polygon faces. Shading uses the Gooch face style, a transition between cool and warm colors rather than dark to light. The effect is less realistic, but it can make the details of the model easier to see.

3D Surface Modeling don’t have density and are merely joined surfaces.

Solid models have density and are not merely joined surfaces. Models are created by joining together or

unioning basic primitive shapes: Box, Sphere, Cylinder, Cone, Wedge, Torus etc. and by polyline etc.

This command is used to extend the existing 2D shapes into 3D shapes. This command can be applied only to a polyline.

The REVOLVE command creates 3D solids by revolving closed polylines, circles, ellipses, closed splines, or regions about an axis in 3D space.
